Omnitron X taking damage

Apologies if this has come up before.

Had a game last night where Omnitron-X had some components out and had taken 3 damage in the villain turn. He was healed for 2 points by Tempest during the hero turn, but then took 2 damage in the environment turn. We ruled that since he had taken 5 damage over the course of the turn his components were destroyed. Should he have lost his components?

Nope, it's a turn, not a round.

The villain, each hero and the environment are separate turns. So anything that references a turn is referring not to one complete go around, but to the individual 'portion' where a single hero, villain or environment act.

If Omnitron-X takes 5 damage in just the Villain Turn then it loses it's components. If Omnitron-X takes 5 damage in just the Environment Turn then it loses it's components. If Omnitron-X takes 5 damage in just Hero 1's Turn then it loses it's components. If Omnitron-X takes 5 damage in just Hero 2's Turn then it loses it's components. If Omnitron-X takes 5 damage in just Hero 3's Turn then it loses it's components. etc etc.

The healing has no impact on 'the count' of how much damage Omnitron-X takes in a turn.

Ah, thank you. That also clarifies something I'd always wondered - what the difference was between a turn and a round.

When I have questions like that, my favourite place to go is the glossary. Seriously, that thing saves a lot of headaches. Hope that helps as well.

It was more the question of whether the damage still counted even if it was healed, but yes next time I'll have the glossary with me when playing.

I was referring to the turn/round distinction. Sorry that it didn't come across that way.
