Potential Sentinel Tactics Post-Release Event

We have some potential plans in the works to make it up to you for the lack of a Sentinel Tactics release event and have some sort of awesome Sentinel Tactics thingy here at the GTG HQ later in the year.

Gah. I'm in. I can't tell you how hard it's been for me not to drive down and force an impromptu one on you.

Oh, trust us.

It will be awesome.

Do I smell a Tourney coming?

In the (I'm hoping really hard) chance that they arrive a bit before Gen Con, I'm assuming I can just shout "Hey, don't ship that one, just pass it to me during dinner!"?

"Sentiel Tactics Thingy" Do I hear an incoming Tactics Tournament? Team Fancy is ready to sweep the competition.

Hey, I did that with GSF at PAX East. Sometimes it works.

My team of me and Nick, henceforth known as The Unambiguously Gay Duo, stands prepared to defend our nonexistent title.

Craig, you and I have a lot of scores to settle--Battlecon, Smash Bros, and now Tactics. This will mark the beginning of a beautiful rivalry.

Pfft. It's only a rivalry when you're competition.

I think we need an Ally Bolsterer here.

You called?

These allies are starting a rivalry, bolster them please.

Have I told you guys my amusing story about grocery shopping dressed in LARP costumes?

HOLD ME BACK! HOLD ME BACK!

Ah, finally, we've been cut to a new thread.

I assume such a tournament would involved different "modes", such as 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, FFA, etc? You could theoretically have a 1v1 if each player had a large team of characters. Though I feel like people would enjoy team games more.

Did I hear smash bros battle? Melee? My ice climbers game would like some competition for once...

I disapprove of this event idea, since it'll be almost impossible for me to be there. Stupid lack of money! And why should you guys get to have Tactics-flavoured fun without me?

Maybe I should set up a project on Kickstarter, promising to make potato salad in St Louis or something?

I'd say we could fly you in via Internet and do your moves for you, but a game like Tactics would be much more difficult to convey instructions for, unless you had an independent webcam to point at an identical board of the game where we are.

Oh, don't be talking disrespectful. I'll whip both of you at some BattleCon. We'll need to be sure to bring that, too, whenever this "Tactics thingy" happens.

Depending on when the event takes place, I'd rather play the 3DS version. You know… new and stuff.

No wave dash = ehh I'd rather play sentinels instead
