I'm trying to get confirmation of something, and this seemed a good place as Handelabra is often on the forums. I also sent a official form to them through their website.
I've been trying to download the 1.6 update for the game, giving me access to mini-pack 2 and the Scholar. It might also help me actually find a multiplayer game on my device, which I have been unable to do.
After getting an extensive run-around from Amazon I was told the 1.6 update was incompatible with my Kindle Fire, and that I would need to purchase a Kindle Fire HD to get the most recent version of the game.
This isn't a massive deal to me, my Kindle is old and the battery has been failing on me (lasts about 6 hours before needing charged), but I would like to get confirmation from Handelabra or someone who is not Amazon and has a vested interest in selling me a device before I make such a purchase.

Amazon has recently instituted stricter rules for device support, and according to their system our game is not compatible with the Kindle Fire (2012) device, even though we know it should work. We did not know whether users were actually playing the game on that device, but now we do!
I'll get in touch with their developer support and see if there is a way to resolve this so you can get the update.

You guys are amazing. I'm probably one of the only people using the old kindle and playing the game, but it means a lot that you guys are willing to try and work with them.
Just curious on what was the resolution of this? I have been playing on a rooted first gen fire running android 4.2.2 . I was having no problems running the game until the 1.6 update.
They were able to get me special permissions to run it. Been running fine, but I got a newer Kindle anyways because mine had a space issue with downloading the update and I did not want to have to go through this again for Vengeance or anything else.
