I'm looking for some possible insight from the Powers That Be. I'm thrilled to see that >G officially lists that they have stock again. Meanwhile, retailers still do not. At the moment, I have an order in at Funagain Games. I was wondering if I could get a copy of the Enhanced Edition faster by ordering directly now from >G and canceling my order at Funagain. But I don't know what the guys' work backlog is like here. Basically, I'm trying to find a way to get the game sooner rather than later. I've played the bejezzus out of the limited Vassal offering already!
So if anyone here could shed some light for me, I'd be most appreciative. If anyone official can tell me that I can get the game faster by ordering here now, just say the word and take my money. I'm ready.
Last week, we received a shipment of games (in a FULL 40' cargo container!). First, we shipped out all of the games which had been ordered through our webstore and were just waiting for inventory. Then, we shipped pallets and pallets of games to the many distributors who order dozens/hundreds of games at a time from us. The distributors will be receiving those pallets early/mid next week, and then, they will send those games to the stores which have standing orders for more Sentinels, such as (I'm sure) Funagain Games. Then, those stores will have the games, and send them out to those who have ordered them, like you.
So, what I'm saying is that it's currently out of our hands how quickly you might get your order. It could arrive at your house late next week! It could be two weeks! I really have no idea. Yes, if you placed an order on our website, I would pack and ship that order within 24 hours of you placing it, and then it would be in FedEx's hands. So, you COULD get it faster from us, but you could also get it at the exact same time.
Anyway, just wanted to explain where things are. We're entirely caught up on orders (finally!) and are very much looking forward to staying that way.
youperguy, if you don't have it very soon, let me know. If you paid for 2-day shipping, you should be getting it within three days of ordering (one day at max for processing). I can look into getting you a partial shipping refund if you don't have game in hand in a resonable amount of time.
Same scenario here, in fact, yours and mine are probably on the same truck given how we are (apparently) relatively near each other according to your location in your profile
(note: I'm not complaining at all – it's just a matter of timing with the holidays and weekends and such – just sharing in youperguy's story as i sit here chewing on the furniture waiting to play )
Well, I'm in a slightly differnet boat, just orderd on the 4th, attempting to check my status and I've never gotten anything in my email beyond the initial confirmation. If i'm checking it right, its stating it hasn't even shipped yet. Put some extra money into it for 2 day shipping, and i'm kinda sad at this point, and was hoping I could get some assistance if possible.
There is a contact link in the store/account page to send an email to them. The reason for the delay is that the products came in on the first of march, and they have to assemble, package and ship them to the thousands of people who placed orders. The first priority is to get the people that participated in the kickstarter their orders first before they procede to those of us that ordered starting in march. The last update i read was they should finish the kickstarter orders by monday/tuesday, and should have the rest shipped by the following friday. Rest assured they have not forgotten or missed your order, there is just a long list in front of it. If it makes you feel better i am in the same boat, and we cant really do much but wait patiently.
Edit: just noticed this is a necro'd thread. The info above your post is not relevant to the current situation. I didnt even read it until after i read yours and posted. So the delay is caused by the release of the new expansion and the release of a lot of mini expansion content, which was march first.
