So far I've gotten 4 of the mini-expansions: Ambuscade, The Final Wasteland, Silver Gulch 1883 and Miss Information. The first 3 had these neat "title" cards witha biography on them, but Miss Information did not have one of these cards. I was wondering if her deck doesn't come with one of these cards, or if it was left out by mistake?
(Note: I'm not talking about her character card. I know the game is perfectly playable without it, but for collections sake I might still want it if there is one.)
When the Mini-Expansion decks were first released they didn't have the title cards with them. Upon reprints they opted to add this card in. Either Miss Information has not gotten a reprint yet or you didn't get the reprint of her deck.
I think that she has one. I'll have to talk to a friend who just bought all of the Sentinels game (ALL of it, save for out-of-print promo cards). As far as I know he should have one for her. I definitely want all of them, too. I have all of the cards in the game, but I only have the bio cards for Ambuscade and Unity.
EDIT: And having those bios on the cards are quite handy for introducing players to these characters. It's much, much easier telling someone "Here is Unity! This bio card explains her quite well," rather than "Let me ramble on about this character I like. Did I not do a good job? Let me pull out The Internet and make you read it on my phone/laptop/tablet."
I don't have a bigoraphy card thing for anyone, and hadn't heard about this before - all my promo decks just came in little cellophane-wrapped decks in the big box o' stuff I got along with Shattered Timelines (I wasn't around for the release of Unity and Ambuscade, so got them at that time too).
Yeah, they've been quite handy for that reason. This is also why I tend to open up my rule book to new players and be like "pick any hero that might interest you, while keeping the complexity in mind".
I'm finding it cool that I noticed something that a lot of people didn't. Like I said, this doesn't affect the game play that much, so I didn't figure anyone else would care about these cards.
All the single decks I’ve bought have come in little Ziplocks. Unity and Ambuscade have the intro cards, and I feel like Miss Information did, but be damned if I can find it.
