Rook City VS Megalopolis - Discussion thread (on going)

Ok folks this is something that I thought about so lets tlk about 2 environmments that I am sure have a alot of story , action , ect when it comes to SOTM. This will be a on going thread where we discuse thing that have to do with these two places . I will make the first question and from there we can talk other topics people might have . 

Fun fact - These 2 place are homage to the 2 cities in DC comics , Metropolis and Gotham which hold a lot of stories filled with adveture and action
1) Which of these 2 cities would you live in and why ?
2) would you visit the other city just to see what it was like ?
3) which city do you think is safer and why ?
4) which city is more dangerous and why?
5) which city would want to see in comics to read and see more of and why?

Live in: Megalopolis, because it's safer.

Visit: Megalopolis, because it's safer and probably more fun.

Safer: Megalopolis, because it's not run by a criminal organization

Dangerous: Rook City, because it's run by a criminal organization

See in Comics: Hmm ... tough call. Probably Megalopolis because I'm not particularly interested in gritty stories.

ok but for the 2nd question is would you visit the city you did not pick . To me both cities are dangerous but mega has more protection . Would you live up town or down town?

The second question was basically "After deciding which city you'd want to live in, would you ever then choose to visit the other one?".

Anyway, my answers are pretty similar...

1) Which of these two cities would you live in and why?

Megalopolis, because it's got the Freedom Five, a non-corrupt (as far as we know) police force (even if it is America so they all carry guns, along with presumably pretty much everyone else...so actually on balance can I pick neither city? :P), and isn't swarming with gangs and stuff.

2) Would you visit the other city just to see what it was like?

No, because it doesn't have a major superhero team protecting it, the police force doesn't seem to do very much to stop all the gangs swarming about, there's gangs swarming about, and Spite lives there...and Plague Rat...and the Chairman's kind of in charge...

3) Which city do you think is safer and why?

Megalopolis, because it has the Freedom Five protecting it (when they're not out saving the Multiverse in other locations).

4) Which city is more dangerous and why?

Rook City, because...urgh I can't be arsed to re-type it all so see above. Megalopolis has its dangers, but on balance I'd say Rook City was far worse.

5) Which city would want to see in comics to read and see more of and why?

I don't read comics, so don't really have an answer for this one.

Yeah, probably. I mean, it's not that dangerous. Well, not until it's destroyed.

I would probably live in Megaloplis, because it's going to be cleaner and a bit more well protected

Probably not. It seems like the type of city most people would know about, and if I knew about Rook city and how dirty it was (in both the cleanliness sense and the moral sense) I would not have any desire to live in it.

Which city do you think is safer and why ?

This one could actually go both ways. On one hand, there is always the orginaized crime to deal with in Rook City, causing problems on a near daily basis. On the other hand, most of the Supervillain assaults happen in Megalopolis. So while the threats in Rook city are more frequent than in Megalopolis, the threats in Megalopolis are a lot more catastrophic

Which city would want to see in comics to read and see more of and why?

Megalopis seems to host a lot of generic heros and generic villains, because of that, I would rather see comics about Rook City where the heros are closer to everyday people than, for example, the Freedom Five in Megalopolis
