You know, it doesn’t really matter how well you’re doing; if Scum and Villainy brings out an Electro-Pulse Explosive when you’re fighting Omnitron, you’re going to have a bad day.

We once had an Atlantean Font of Power let Omnitron play a Terraform, which let him nuke the Font so we couldn't play anything...and then I think he played an EPE off it as well for added laughs moments later when his turn started :P.
You know how the Mobile Defense Platform is a pretty tame environment overall? Oh, maybe you get plinked a few times, but mostly you just let it do its thing and build up?
Well, I was playing Cosmic Omnitron last night, and there were seven environment cards in play when Terraforming hit. So, seven villain cards plus an extra one for each drone (he was in Dropship mode) resulted in 11 villain cards, two of which were Electro Pulse Explosives.
I actually pulled this one out by the skin of my teeth and killed him before they could go off, but it made me very conscious of the environment's interaction with ol' "pushover" Omnitron.
We used it tu fuel extreme scorched earth against the Chairman. Cleaned up the prison break nicely
Yeah, until you fight against Voss in the MDP. "Minion" keywords EVERYWHERE. Oh so rough.
This may be one of my favorite twists on Voss, I love Baron Blades men welcoming their alien overlords with open arms.
Cool, a mass-environment-powered Scorched Earth sounds like a great use of the MDP environment...as long as you don't accidentally end up nuking the Propulsion Systems. I suppose you could make sure that if they're in play, that they've been removed by other means (Blinding Speed or whatever) before you start nuking All of the Things :D.
