Rules help

I have seen a couple of posts where people talk about using Legacy to redirect damage to himself with Lead From the Front while being immune to the damage because of Next Evolution. However I also thought I read something saying you cannot redirect damage to a target that is immune to damage. What is real rule on this case? Thanks!

I have not read that rule you have read (the cannot redirect one) so the 'real rule' would be "It's OK to redirect damage to someone who is immune".

Welcome to the forums!

/agree.  Welcome!

Great! Thanks.

You can aim any damage at someone who's immune, it's just that nothing will happen. If the attack has any other effects, however (such as Wraith's Stun Bolts, which nerf the target's damage by one point till her next turn), these will still occur :).

Ok another question.

SubZero has a power that allows him to deal 1 cold damage to 3 non-hero targets. At the end of his turn he must deal x fire damage to himself, where x = the total amount of cold damage he delt this turn. (I think I got that correct)

He also has an ongoing card that says anytime he takes fire damage he deals that much cold damage to 1 target.

Doesn't that set up a loop? Or do we just say the one card's effect is over so when the second effect comes into play it doesn't trigger more fire damage to SubZero?

Thanks!

No, it doesn't set up a loop, he only takes fire damage the one time. And you've got some details wrong about Thermal Shockwave. It can target hero targets, and he takes the fire damage during the Power phase, not the end of the turn. Oh, and Isothermic Transducer is an Equipment card, not an Ongoing card.

That is the problem with being new and trying to enter the card text from memory. I was pretty sure that the "x = the amount of cold damage delt this turn" part was right.  What you are saying though is that it really means this turn until the end of the power phase. Correct?

Yeah, it's whatever damage he's already inflicted. You don't keep rechecking it.
