runes of atlantis and enviroment rules and targeting rules

does the kraken target villlains?

and do multiple enviroment cards with the same name stack

if a card lets you target multiple targets can they all be the same target

1)The Kraken will target villains

2)That depends. 2 Krakens would be 2 seperate 5 point damaging cards, not a single 10 point attack but 2 Cramped Quarters Combat (Megalopolis environment) would both add 1 damage for a total of +2 for any damage! The reason being that you process the cards one at a time but if they have 'global' effects then the effects stick around until the card disappears.

3) No. If a single line is on a card says something like "Deal up to 3 targets 3 melee damage" (a single effect) or " Deal 1 target 2 melee damage and a second target 3 projectile damage" (specifies a second target) then it needs to be separate targets. If a card has multiple lines that say something like "Invincible Jones deals a target 2 lightning damage. Invincible Jones deals a target 2 infernal damage" then it can be the same target as a) it doesn't specify a second/different target, and b) it is two separate effects.

... and I think that's the last time I'll be using Paul's Invincible Jones example as we now have a 'proper' hero who has a card with that effect on it, Invincible Jones I salute you and all the fine work you have done, you would have made a fine promo deck

Yes, the kraken can target villains as they are not Environment targets. The Kraken finds minions very tasty, apparently.

Dpends what you mean by stack. If you have two Phosphorescent Chambers, then that will be +2 damage dealt, +2 HP recovery. If you have two The Krakens, then each would attack the lowest HP target at the time, which may be different if the first The Kraken kills one, for 5 melee damage each rather than one target for 10 melee damage. Cards that don't have the same name also stack. The exceptiobn is Limited cards as you can only have one of those in play at a time.

That depends on the card. If it targets multiple targets at once (Greivous Hail Storm, Holy Nova) or specifically says another target (Grenade Launcher, Hoarfire) then they can't be the same thing. If you have a card that says "target 1 rtarget, then target 1 target" (such as Schirezo of Frost and Flame) they can be the same target. The last one is really unusual though, so most of the time the answer will be "No".

as far i know -

does kraken target villains - yes , thats why we got "relase the kraken!"

yes there can be multiple environment cards with the same name

As for the third question - i think it can`t but i am not entirely sure about this one.

Had a question about this myself "Dpends what you mean by stack. If you have two Phosphorescent Chambers, then that will be +2 damage dealt, +2 HP recovery."

on the HP recovery - does that mean that everyone starts recovering HP?  I didn't think so. I assume it means if something happens that causes a player or villain to recover hp, an additional 2 points are added.  Still a very new player, so haven't really had an instance where someone was recovering HP.  Unless I am missing out on some rule or something that states heroes are supposed to recover HP at certain points, but I read the rule-book a few times at didn't see such a rule.

Your assumption is correct.  Each instance of HP recovery is increased by two, but it would not cause any HP regain to happen on its own.

Thanks!

Certainly!  Welcome to the forums!

thanks every one for the answer
