Scars

Just an observation upon which someone more well-spoken (well-typed?) than myself can build.

Spite's resurrected body's scars are eerily similar to Apostate's in shape & placement. Could the scars, or the bodies themselves, have the same origin?

I doubt they have similar origins.  I would equate it more of a coincidence instead of having a been caused by the same source.

Can you point us to relevant images? I don't see obvious scars on "Agent of Gloom Spite".

Also, Apostate's flipped art. I'll snag that later.

DW Fixer also has a similar scar though his also contains a dragon tattoo going through it.

Could it be a mark of being resurrected? That doesn't necessarily include Apostate, but Spite & Fixer both gaining those scars after their death seems quite coincidental.

edit: ninja'ed

The only connection I see is that in each case the character is supposed to be dead but has been brought back by some means.

Apostate flips to that side when he is supposed to be destroyed and instead a relic goes away.   Storyline wise I could see he got taken out and then resurrected by some means which is his flipped side

Mr. Fixer's scar was caused by Heartbreaker. Could the other scars also have been caused by Heartbreaker?

Mr Fixer already has the scar before Heartbreaker stabs him on the incap side for DW Mr Fixer.

Mister Fixer got his scars from The Operative on the card Undivided Attention.

Didn't Apostate get his scar during that fight he had with Fanatic (the one that ended with him giving her the "We're both the same" breaking speech)?
