I would assume mostly because it is late, probably tomorrow morning. But hey, great surprise for the morning. Onto the next goal!

To those whove playtested...
How does the game scale for players? 2 to 8 is a great range of player count, but how does it hold up at those ranges. Most my gaming is with 2 (my wife and I) but after that it is usually in the 6 to 8 range (why do so many games support up to 5?) Anyway, is this good with 2? Is it good with 8? Do more players add more lag time? Is everyone actively engaged on more then their own turn? if not I'd think more players would make it less fun?
I appreciate any insights in this regard.
My guess would be that other kickstarters drastically underestimate the price of international shipping and take a huge hit on it. I've seen it in more than one update that theyve underestimated the shipping cost, but are striving forward anyways (because they don't have a choice).
being the 4th Kickstarter, and 6th game to ship by >G they have a reall good handle on shipping costs internationally now. Still working to lower them it seems, but nothing is a guarantee.
This what my thinking as well, I've been in a kickstarter where the maker suddenly had to ask all the international backers to add extra to their pledges because it turned out shipping was higher than he thought it was (luckily I was only backing for digital rewards and wasn't affected) for a big heavy thing like a board game I'd rather know it was going to be a big cost than suddenly have to pay extra (or feel guilty about costing them money).
I think that any reply to this would be so full of [redacted] tags that it wouldn't be funny. Unless it was hilarious. Would it be appropriate to say that involvement in tactical wargames is mostly dependent on the players? This is equally true of Star Fleet Battles (where the rules are written like contracts, and are approximately as thick as the contract necessary to do ~13 million in municipal work) as of The Song of Blades and Heroes, where the rules are available for $8.00 via download.
When playing with two players, generally each player would be controlling one side of the battle, and not just one character each. With larger player counts, each played would generally control a single character. Really, though, the whole game is built around character count and not player count – if you want, one team could be player A controlling REDACTED, player B controlling REDACTED and REDACTED, players C and D each controlling REDACTED of player E who is controlling REDACTED, while player F is on the other team controlling all of REDACTED, except one REDACTED who is controlled by player G who's having to cook dinner at the same time and can only be at the table during REDACTED.
See - hilarious
Well, just because it is cannon doesn't mean it is right. Canons never were the most reliable things, and cannon isn't much better.
Just because the powers that be refuse to admit to the nipple displacement doesn't mean it didn't happen, it was probably just so traumatic that they blocked it out.
I've decided it is in fact unity. She is facing left with fixer's hat and her little bangs below the rim.
You know how SotM is a 2 player game, but you can't really play with just 2 heros? You can apply that to tactics as well. If its just the 2 of you, I'v played a bunch of 2v2 skirmishes and it works very well. The Senario's included would also work very well, since they are 1 villain vs multiple heros, 2 players works well here too! 6-8 range you could do anything from 3v3, 4v4, 2v2v2 are always a fun time. Its pretty flexible
Looks like we were all wrong about the new character!

so
what citizen is that?
Bacon has been unlocked! We get a delicious pig meat character!
Assault, judging by the bardiarche, but he looks a lot darker than I remember his card being.
Sentinel Tactics has made the Hotness on BGG. Now, let's get some more images up and get them on the front page, too.
Stupid question, but how do you know that it's a Citizen?
Agreed, if there are more pictures it's easier to keep it in the Hotness and also the pictures will likely make their way to the top of the Hot pictures, so there will be plenty of exposure.
As an aside, where are Wraith's bandages? That's a big costume change.
Woo! Pauline looks awesome! This is what I've been most excited about--grown up versions of younger heroes. At this point, alongside Beacon, Unity and Visionary will be in their late 20s, and Idealist should be about 20 now.
I wonder why they're drawing so much attention to Tachyon, Tempest, Fanatic, and Nightmist fighting Baron Blade. Odd.
That’s a good question I think we asked it last year and never got an answer maybe we’ll get character updates for this kick starter, probably when things slow down a big and they need to drum up more interest.
