We've developed an Android app to let you easily keep track of HP for all Sentinels of the Multiverse targets, and we're ready to make it known to the Sentinels community now that it's stable and fully featured. We intend to keep it updated with each new expansion to Sentinels of the Multiverse, and it currently contains cards for every deck up to Vengeance. It may not be the prettiest app in the world, but it works great, and best of all it's FREE! :)
If you have any comments or questions, we'd love to hear them. You can reply to this topic, or send us an email directly at sotm@nispesoft.com
We've actually been mulling over the idea of making an ad-free version for our fans for a while now. I'll be sure to update this space as soon as an ad-free version is available.
Unfortunately our app was written in the native Java Android SDK, so it's not the most portable. We didn't have other OSes in mind when we set out to write SotM Commander in the first place, so it's not currently on the horizon. If this changes, we'll be sure to let you know!
And now the sentinels sidekick official app has been added to both play store and amazon. Though there is no art and it is not Vengeance ready. Let the battle commence.
Sentinels Commander has one feature I really like that all versions of Sidekick lacks and that is an Unlucky Pool tracker for Setback. I have both now so we will see which one works better on the table.
Admittedly, I already bought in, because this thing is great... But I did find what appears to be a bug.
If a user is using the not-ad-free version and doesn't have internet access for whatever reason, the app crashes as soon as it tries to load an ad. Miiiiight want to try and make things a little more robust there.
That is indeed a bug! Sorry about that, we actually had a fix for it ready for some time now, but we've been out of town and unable to release the update into the store.
We'll be releasing this update tonight, so you should see the update in the Play Store in the next day or two. The Amazon version is not affected, as this was a bug with the in-app purchasing, and the Amazon version does not allow Play Store billing.
We're glad you purchased despite the issue, and will strive to make sure we keep our app as up to date as possible in the future.
I second this request, even though I know "the Cauldron" is an unofficial expansion, it's become quite popular with the fan base and we'd appreciate being able to use those decks with this app. Or if you could set up a way for us to add heroes, that would also be appreciated.
Sorry for the long delay, but we are happy to announce the ability to add your own custom cards to our app. This includes new heroes, villains, and environments and their respective targets, like those in The Cauldron.
This new version should be available on any Google Play Store device running Gingerbread or above in the next day or so.
To use that, simply unzip the file, connect your device to your computer, then copy the "Android" folder directly onto your storage device. Make sure to Safely Remove your device and unplug before running the app.
Otherwise, you're welcome to add any custom heroes from any non-official Sentinels decks you have.
Thanks for your suggestions, and sorry for taking so long to get back to you.
Love it, love it, love it nipesoft! Thanks so much for doing that for us. Not only the Cauldron, but we can put in our own customs as well? You’re the best. If I could give you 5 stars a second time I would.
What do you think the chances are of adding a feature like in Sidekick has where one person changes a value on their devce and everyone in the game gets theirs updated automatically? I imagine it would be a bit of work, but I at least would definitely shell out some extra cash for it. Yours is by far my favorite tracking app when I’m playing solo or with my regular group of friends (simple, uncluttered, intuitive, and fast!), but I teach Sentinels to new players pretty regularly and it makes a big difference if I can do all the accounting myself and just let them concentrate on the gameplay instead.
The only other improvement I would suggest is incorporating the statistics into the hero selection screen like Daniel Lew did in his Sentinels Randomizer app. It’s always nice to choose/see a predicted win rate for the match, and, again, especially so with newer players. I let them choose their heroes based on what looks fun to them and I want to match them with a villain of appropriate difficulty so they’re neither under- nor over-whelmed. How else am I going toget them hooked on my drug, right?
So yeah, right now I'm stuck using three diferent apps to run SotM games, and it would be uber-awesome if that were all condensed down into one. I know that I, for one, would not hesitate to pay a premium to help make that happen.
Just to let you know that when you updated automotron drone’s starting life is now 40 instead of 4.
Also I know the custom area is still in beta but was wondering if it was gonna have a starts in play option as well as a way to do tokens like setback?
Love the app. Use it all the time. Keep up the good work.
Bumping this to see if i get a response about an update. I'm sure one is coming since a new set is on the way. The custom area is really awsome and is getting alot of use with my fan made set. Thanks again.
Sorry about the delayed response, but Nispesoft is branching out to develop a new game completely unrelated to Sentinels of the Multiverse, and it has consumed most of our time.
The good news is that I can now announce the latest update to our SotM Commander app, you should start seeing updates in the Google Play Store in the near future. This update includes all the new cards from Wrath of the Cosmos, as well as new promo cards.
The bad news is that we haven't been able to complete all the features in time for this release, as we wanted to make sure everyone had all the latest cards built in from Wrath of the Cosmos. We're also having issues getting the new version on the Amazon App Store, but we're working on it!
We will be adding a feature to allow you to mimic Setback's Unlucky Pool with your custom cards in the near future, but we hope in the meantime you'll enjoy the updated cards for the newest Expansion (as well as all the new promos we're aware of).
As always, thanks for using our app! We hope you're enjoying it as much as we are!
By the way, I tried out Omnitron IV, and the targets that came out were the Mobile Defense Platform's targets, and I can no longer find the MDP in the environments list. Is it just me?
