My question is … what part of time are we repairing as we play sentinels?

Is the main one visionary saving the dreamer… which makes sense

but what about the Iron Legacy timeline … is that just a WHAT IF timeline? if so it can be completely ignored or did the actual (main timeline) heroes interact with this time line … if so how? we haven’t seen any dimension hoping characters? and who restored the timeline? or is this a spoiler to a future hero?

Or am I thinking too hard about a game based on comic book conventions ?

No one restored the timeline, we are in timeline C now (A being Legacy dying with Young Legacy stepping up, B being Young Legacy dying leading to Iron Legacy). Something happened to the multiverse and allowed Timeline B to intersect with 'our' timeline, leading to a future where neither of the Legacies died (as relayed in the Beacon Tactics update).

We still have no idea what weakened the fabric of reality to allow this, but wild speculation is that it is to be the 'big boss' of the Sentinels' card game.

 

I think repair is the wrong word, replace might be better.
