Not sure if this subject has been brought up before, but Spiff’s post on NPC’s got me thinking about sidekicks.
This could be a neat thing to include in an upcoming expansion. I think it could work one of two ways. Either like the nemesis rule, where there would be a bonus to the main hero (or possibly both) if both were in play. Or the other option would be to restrict it to certain hero cards. Those cards could be marked with the sidekick’s logo indicating that card does additional damage if the sidekick was being played as well.
What this really comes down to for me is that I think Wraith could really use a Sparrow.
Well, there is nothing really preventing a hero deck containing other hero targets. In fact, Visionary does have another hero target in her deck (though it’s only effect is damage prevention. Would be interesting concept to have more of these.
Sparrow is actually already a character in the Amalgam universe. In the Legends of the Dark Claw series where Batman and Wolverine are amalgamized, Sparrow is a cross between Jubilee and Robin.
You mean like how Fawcett Comics had a Captain Marvel, of which was later purchased by DC, but not before Marvel created a Captain Marvel, in which Amalgam Comics then created a Captain Marvel who was an amalgamation between Captain Marvel and Captain Marvel?
Not only that, but Wraith is also an amalgamation of Obsidian and Gambit.
Ha, you said it so now it is declared the official name and no take backs. Now when sidekicks are mentioned that will be the first one created.
So two sidekicks have been revealed since I am guessing Young Legacy is currently the sidekick of Legacy until he retires. Who wants to guess the next sidekick?
