Depending on the era, I use either horses or trucks to progress the cannons. Have to put the artillery in the right spots.
I don't know. Some of my fondest memories of Empire:TW have been my cannon were in the wrong place.
We quote this line in everyday use in our house at least once a week, and it comes up in at least 1/3 of my SotM games.
Well look at that, a stretch goal for the Comic specifically.

OMG SQUEE!!
Sorry, but really, Adam has gone from not bad to very good, and I'd love to see (and hold) that comic with new artwork. Don't know the odds of it making it that far though.
Just in case someone doesn't know about Kicktraq, here is a link to Sentinel Conflict.
Made it to the Crowdfunding Round-Up.
Nothing much on the BGG page, except two comments. I didn't realize the Dice Tower had something on it weeks ago until the comment. It starts at 3:17.
Unless a massive bump comes I don't see this one succeeding. Which mostly will make me sad that we don't get a comic book
I will be sad too. I am left to wonder if a comic-only KS would have funded successfully (my feeling is that it easily would have). It could still fund, but it needs a surge from somewhere
It seems like they have the comic book prepared. If the Kickstarter doesn't get funded for the game & comic, perhaps they can do what they did with WCos and take pre-orders on their site so that they know how many people want a physical book, then add some so that they have a little inventory to sell from the store? The digital version of the comic seems like it'd be relatively straightforward to set up in the store as-is.
Wow.
That's just…
Wow.
Ouch, harsh comments at that. It more or less reflects the same kind of reaction we discussed, but in a more abraisive and untactful manner.
I'm confident the comic book will still happen, though.
Yeah that was my reaction too. I very much disagree that Tactics was a step down from SotM though. Idk how you can come to that conclusion.
Nick is always very critical of the SotM artwork and relatively unfiltered with his opinions about when he feels that companies are just trying to "grab" money - see his comments on the War Extended Edition of BattleCon for one more recent example. The sad fact is - and I said this a few times during the Tactics KS - GTG is good at many things, but online PR and presence is not always one of them. I can certainly see how people can come to the conclusion that GTG is trying to cash in on a popular hit game by theming it out. I am not saying that's what I believe, but then again I hang out here most days. The large majority of their potential customer base does not
@Craig (or Mod)
Can you modify the thread title to mention Sentinel Conflict?
EDIT: Wow, that was fast.
Also, on Tactics - I think the KS rubbed some people the wrong way and the online reaction/buzz has been very minimal since it actually released. Reviews have been generally lukewarm/positive but it's described as "light tactical" which is read as derogatory by many. I will admit that SotM hit the table a lot more than Tactics amongst my family/group. I still like the game, just dont have the same love as I do for the card game.
Yeah. Different people are going to like different games. It's a shame we can't accept and support that.
Obviously, he doesn't like games like Story War. I'm with him on that, but I'm willing to accept there are other folks who do like games like Story War and that there's nothing wrong with that.
It's a light day at work (i.e., I'm avoiding doing things I really should be ).
You too, eh?
And despite what has been said about Tactics, I look forward to when my set ships to my place. I think it's a great game, especially if you love the characters. And mixing/matching villian and hero teams is really interesting to me.
