Hey folks Im new to the forums. I first got Sotm a few months ago and several expansions later and more money gone than I care to think about Ive gotten the EE,Rook City, and shattered timlines as well as the mini-expansions heroes and villains. I've always enjoyed reading the campaign narratives that folks put up about their games and thought I'd throw my own attempt to the mix. I've basically created two teams of heroes from those that I have and am alternating them in games against the villains. The Goal: defeat the villains before they defeat you. Each villain defeated will be considered in jail and removed from the rotation. If a villain has multiple different cards (i.e. Vanilla Baron and mad bomber) the villain can escape and menace the heroes in another form. If a heroe is defeated they are considered out for the campaign.
Below will be a list of all participating heroes, villain, and environments. I'll update them as I acquire the remaining expansion sets. I apologize for any formatting/spelling errors, as I try to make this as engaging and entertaining as I can. I've thrown in a little bit of flair and added dialogue just when it seemed to fit.

Heroes: Mr. Fixer, Haka, Visionary, Expatriette, Tempest
Things start with a boom as Citizen Dawn begins her invasion of Megalopolis. Luckily for the citizens Mr. Fixer, Haka, Visionary, Expatriette, Tempest stand to defend them.
Villain Turn 1:
Citizen Dawn begins the fight with Citizens Sweat, Blood, Summer, and Spring alongside her. Citizen Blood, bolstered by the presence of his partner, Citizen Sweat, quickly engages all the heroes attacking sharply with his cane. Citizen Summer sends jets of flame at Mister Fixer and Haka while Citizen Spring stays back looking to heal any of her fellows that may be wounded in the coming fight. Dawn herself launches a luminescent bolt at the mighty Haka.
Heroes turn 1:
Mr. Fixer starts the counter attack. Equipping a jack handle he leaps into the fray striking all the citizens around him.
Haka quickly follows suit. Chanting the Haka of Battle, he is able to quickly dispatch Citizen Summer. Apparent the immortal warrior never heard that saying about not hitting girls.
The Visionary the unleashes a psychic maelstrom, inflicting agony upon the minds of the would-be invaders.
Expatriette begins laying down suppressing fire with her assault rifle, eliminating Blood and Sweat, as well as inflicting a light wound onto Dawn herself.
The skies of Megalopolis darken as M’kk Dall’ton calls upon the power from which he takes is earth name. He summons a hail storm to pelt the oncoming army and halt their advance.
Environment Turn 1:
Seeing the resistance of the heroes of Megalopolis meeting them in a much more organized an mighty manner. Dawn orders a detachment of her soldiers to start taking hostages from among the fleeing civilians to distract her foes while she regroups.
Villain Turn 2:
Citizen Dawn apparently finding herself removed from the majority of her forces spends her time with Citizen spring healing herself of the wounds that she has taken. She does however find an opportunity to strike out at her troublesome dissapointment of a daughter and looses a bolt of searing light directly at Expatriette, halting the stream of steady fire from Amanda Cohen.
Heroes Turn 2:
Mr. Fixer, mindful of the safety of the hostages manages to engage the villains an harry Citizen Dawn and Spring with his Jack Handle.
The Immortal Haka follows Mr Fixer’s lead, striking mightily at Spring. What is it with the big guy and menacing small girls.
Expatriette decides that the smart thing to do when taking fire from Dawn would be to find cover and does so while getting her weapons reloaded and waiting for a change in the status quo. She does manage to find a chance for return fire at her mother dearest, loosing a stream of bullets at Dawn’s position.
Tempest continues his barrage of hail onto the invaders, keeping them from gaining to much more momentum.
Environment Turn 2:
A combination of the heroes and the local militia are able to see the hostages to safety, but the chaos of the changing battlefield causes Tempest to cease his hailstorm to prevent any impending casualties
Villain Turn 3:
Dawn continues healing soothing the wounds of her warriors that can continue the battle, and fires on the giant samoan warrior.
Heroes Turn 3:
The old blind mechanic known only as Slim draws in a breath to focus and triggers his Overdrive state to lay assault on Citizens Spring and Dawn.
Haka takes a defensive stance speaking the Haka of Restoration to heal his injuries suffered for the enemy leader. He then strikes again at Spring.
The Visionary continues her psionic assault, inflicting cerebral damage to Dawn’s forces.
Expatriette sees an opportunity to be rid a major headache. Loading Shock rounds into her Asault Rifle, she unleashes a barrage on to the Citizens of the Sun, neutralizing their healer but unfortunately only grazing her mother.
Tempest frowns at Expatriette’s display. “Electrical bullets are clear gimmick infringement!” , he calls to Expatriette.
“Blow it out your gills!”, Amanda responds. He could wait till after the current crisis to go into the matter. Electing instead to further continuing the assault on Dawn, he reaizes that his previous winter storms had altered weather patterns such that he coud summon a vicious cyclone. He does so and quicly sets it to attach to Citizen Dawn.
Environment Turn 3:
Just when our heroes seemed ready to press their advantage, A traffic pileup on the freeway as a result of the ongoing battle manages to hamper their advance.
Villain Turn 4:
Citizen Dawn, having had quite enough of the failure’s assault rifle, and the blows suffer by that damned fool of a mortal that dared attack her with automotive tools, unleashes the devastating power of her aurora destroying the heroes’ tools as well as the intervening cars. She then fired another beam at the oncoming heroes. The mighty Haka bravely stepped forward to take the brunt of the attack.
Heroes Turn 4:
Mr. Fixer leads the charge on Dawn with a series of punches and kicks, pummeling the enemy leader.
Haka gets slowed briefly from dawns attack. Taking the moment of Fixer’s assault to retrieve a taiaha from...somewhere, he follows his friends lead and beats Dawn about.
Visionary notices that the assault from her teams heavy-hitters has left Dawn’s mind unguarded and sets about burning away her attachments to several of her comrades, robbing her of the building fury of watching them fall in battle.
Expatriette.rushes to a nearby wrecked police vehicle and retrieves a tactical shotgun from the trunk. Loading and chambering a round she shouts “Clear!” signaling friends to get out of the way as she opens fire onto Dawn herself.
Citizen Dawn finds herself slowed by the ensuing barrage and is unable to avoid the abuse of the cyclone. Tempest then calls upon his willpower and calls down a lightning storm from the sky. “Now THAT’S how you use electricity!”
Environment Turn 4:
Seeing their leader being assaulted the Citizens of the Sun try again with the hostages to make the heroes hesitate.
Villain Turn 5:
Citizen Autumn rushes forward to help her mistress as Dawn fires a blast of power at Tempest.
Heroes Turn 5:
Mr. Fixer breaks off his attack on Dawn to engage Autumn. His attacks are formless and meant more to distract than damage.
Haka follows suit launching simultaneous attacks with his Taiaha on both Dawn and Autumn.
Visionary stays back. Wary of directly attacking and getting the hostages harmed she uses her telepathy to bolster Tempests willpower.
Expatriette takes calmly ejects the spent cartridge, chambers the next round, and fires at her hated mother.
Tempest keeps the cyclone/storm combination going on Dawn’s forces. This suppresses their ability to advance and he also calls forth a squall to take out Autumn.
Environment Turn 5:
The heroes manage to rescue the hostages, but just when things seem to be calming down a monorail plummets from the tracks, obviously having been damaged by from the ensuing battle.
Villain Turn 6:
With the assistance of Citizen Battery brought forth from the storm, Dawn begins her counter-attack with Battery taking on Expatriette and her sending another attack to the hulking brute with the stick.
Heroes Turn 6:
Mr. Fixer trusts that his more superhuman friends can handle the falling train and enters his monkey stance launching a barrage of attacks at Citizen Battery to assist Expatriette.
Haka starts chanting the Haka of Battle and smacks Dawn away from him and into the following monorail altering its path of descent away from the battle.
Visionary simultaneously works to telepathicaly damage the two enemy superhumans, bolster tempest who was starting to get tired maintaining so many weather patterns at once, and two calm to search for any injured passengers on the monorail that Dawn was just sent flying into to direct EMTs to where they could best help.
Expatriette reaches for her ammo belt and smirks as she see the incendiary shotgun slugs. Loading them into the shotgun, takes aim and fires in to the hole of the train where Citizen Dawn lay prone.
Tempest takes a break from his torrential onslaught to bestow a cleansing downpour to rejuvenate his allies.
Environment Turn 6:
With the current monorail situation averted, what should come up but yet another monorail.
Villain Turn 7:
Dawn’s face takes on a pale complexion as the skies darken and a solar eclipse covers the city. She then floats up from the wreckage and opens fire at Tempest sensing the opening in his weather attacks. Citizen Battery Breaks off from Fixer’s attacks to once again strike at Expatriette, hoping to punish her for the heinous attack on his liege.
Heroes Turn 7:
Stripping the hoist chain from a nearby tow truck Fixer strikes at Citizen Dawn. Wrapping it around her throat he wrenches her from the air.
Now that she was brought down the their level, Haka rushed forward and smashed Dawn into the plummeting monorail once more.
Visionary could see that the sudden eclipse brought on by Dawn was probably bad and telepathically countered and broke her link to that part of her power. Once more sunlight shone on the city.
Firing another batch of incendiary rounds into where Dawn had been launched, Expatriette tried to hit her but wound up damaging the train more instead due to Battery knocking her shot wide. She did seem to hit some kind of braking mechanism to slow the trains decent though.
Tempest resumes his attacks using his a stray bolt of lightning to take out Battery and summons a wave of water from a the pipes beneath the pavement to guide monorail to a safe decent.
Environment Turn 7:
The heroes are momentarily distracted by the threat of some impending casualty’s from the crashing monorail but act swiftly to prevent them.
Villain Turn 8:
Dawn rises furious drenched and smelly for the train wreckage. (It turned out to be a sewage pipe that Tempest busted.) She then fires a hate-fueled blast at Haka for the indignity of being used as a glorified golfball.
Heroes Turn 8:
With bloody knuckles, Fixer wraps the hoist chain around his arms and proceeds to use it to club Dawn about interrupting her stream of vengeful threats.
Haka had tried to block the brunt and the angry woman’s energy blast with the taiaha, but the weapon unfortunately broke beneath the might of the attack. He then reaches over into a Samoan curio shop that was there for...reasons, and brought forth another taiaha and joined Fixer in his assault on Dawn coordinating his attacks with the old man as Dawn’s stamina seemed to be reaching its limits.
Visionary sends forth a decoy projection to draw Dawn’s fire, while mentally bolstering Tempest for the final charge.
Expatriette fires another round and manages to catch Dawn flush in the chest. Unfortunately, this was a police non-lethal round. It hurt immensely but Dawn remained among the living.
Luckily all of Visionary’s assistance had paid off, and now Tempest’s power levels were nearly back to where they were at the beginning of the fight. After bombarding Dawn with the cyclone and lightning, M’kk Dall’ton realized that bringing her down would take a more direct approach than he had used thus far. Call the power of the lightning down to him he transmuted and shaped the lightning around him to create blades of pure electricity. He then charged the reeling Dawn and cut his hand in an x-shape across her chest and sending the power of a full lightning storm directly into her body. Dawn collapsed unconcious
Seeing there leader fall took the fight out of the other Citizens and those that could escape took the opportunity to do so. All others surrendered to the heroes and law enforcement. Once again Megalopolis was safe.
