SotM Quiz Game!

Sweet, so we have another little girl with super powers to look forward to.

Given the art we have on her so far, I'll wager she's good at hiding and being quiet (see her training on Vigilence), and in the Rook City one she is clearly looking around her, surveying the tactical situation.

She is clearly a Ninja.

Ninja Hero incoming!!  It is fact.

Comes back in a card currently available to the general public, or comes back as the Idealist?

Edit: Teaches me to post before reading ALL the new entries in thread. :frowning:

Hmmm. Clever. If you happen to be more correct than not, she could very well end up being [Redacted]. The name alone would fit your description to a tee, and taking the Icon into account (she is a child after all…) and the picture starts coming together.

Phanta, you are more genius than you currently realize.

Edit: PTs should notice what I am getting at. Sorry to everyone else.

As a non-playtester, I now find myself wildly speculating that the girl in question is a Rachel Summers expy or maybe a female equivalent of Cable.  She might fit in the final expansion, which I'm expecting to have a "cosmic" theme...you can only make so many space-themed heroes without them all being dull, but a time-traveler with a silly-string backstory would seem to fit with the same general degree of gonzoness.

It would make sense, with her nemesis as well...

AH! That flavor text is rather telling isnt it! Nice catch  :sunglasses:

Just kind of poetic, isn't it? Silent hero, THAT nemesis...

That would be pretty hilarious, for so many reasons.

Found our next mini expansion perhaps? Ronway with the breakthrough!

*grumble grumble playtesters everywhere grumble grumble*

Yeah, stinking playtesters, go [REDACT] in your own forums!

You're driving down the real estate value.

Indeed.  Though I find I don't really envy them their knowledge of the game's inner workings, for much the same reason I don't envy a supermodel's gynecologist.  I've only ever seen the game with its makeup on and its clothes all pretty, and that's probably for the best I figure.

It's actually pretty neat, getting to see pre-final versions of the heroes and stuff.

Did you know that, originally, the Scholar COMPLETELY SUCKED?

That… is possibly the best analogy I've ever heard, but my problem is less with them having knowledge and more with the flaunting of it :stuck_out_tongue:

Are you at liberty to expand on this?  I'd be interested in hearing what some of the heroes were like, prior to release; hearing that The Scholar (who can be a powerhouse in a number of different ways) was pretty bad during playtesting makes me wonder about his evolution!

Someone can start a thread on talking about heroes that are now released, comparing them to the playtest versions - please feel free! :+1:

I've lost track - what's the current question? :sunglasses:

Yes. Yes, you may.

How many (published) heroes (including promo versions, where such is known) hail from Great Lakes states?

Nobody seems to know this last answer (I know Legacy is from Chicago, but I don't pay enough attention to the bios to have any more than that), so I'm going to go ahead and ask a new question.

Name a card in some character's deck which depicts that character in a situation which is not actually possible given their deck.  (Something like "beating up Legacy" doesn't count just because you think the character is underpowered and couldn't win such a fight; with bad enough luck any hero can manage to lose to any villain.)  I'm thinking of one specific example, but if you name a different one which fits these terms it can still count, and then I'll tell you the one I had in mind.

Let's not skip it. We have had weeks between a question and an answer.

I chose not to answer the question because I have no real idea which states are the great lake states, it is an easily worked out answer if you do want to ask the next question though.
