Well yes I could look up the answer, but doesn't that rather defeat the point of a quiz?
Wraith and Legacy are born in great lakes states, so if Wraith in multiple timelines is still born in Rochester that would make 4 cards, The Parsons lived in Chicago when Greatest Legacy was born, so that makes 3 characters, 5 cards.
There, it is answered. I don't have a question, which is why I didn't answer it before.
So I will pretend that you asked the question "Who has the next question", and then I shall answer it as follows.
Nimble Strike. That mirror mistress does not yet exist in the game. Is that the kind of thing you're looking for, or more general scenarios?
I think he means something like Pervasive Red Dust. While Visionary is in the pic, mechanically it doesn’t affect her. That isn’t in a character deck though.
Expatriette getting in a guns-in-face standoff with Tony Taurus?
OH
OH OH OH
Argent Adept playing Rhapsody of Vigor with the Harp and Inventive Preparation with the horn!
I guess that one counts well enough. The one I had in mind, though, was Ambuscade's "Armed and Dangerous" (featured in an earlier question on this thread). It depicts him wearing three Sonic Mines, but only two of them are found in his deck.
Ask us a question, Mr. Bear!
Ok, give me a little while to think of one.
Ok. How many other games have characters from Sentinels of the Multiverse appeared in?
I just know of two: BattleCon: Devastation of Indines (Legacy is a promo) and Pixel Lincoln (The Freedom Five are promo characters...man, I wish that game was more fun...). I seem to also remember something about some Minecraft skins for the Freedom Five, possibly?
What is the name of H.R. Walker's shop assistant?
Charlie.
Since I hear a lot about the similarities between Wraith and Batman, what are the differences between these two characters?
Aside from age & gender?
One of them is fictional.
Would it be cheating if I linked to Ronway's extensive dissertation on the ways they differ?
No, but I think we would have to consider it Ronway answering the question, which means he would have to ask the next question.
Well, I can't possibly answer the question without at least paraphrasing what he said, so either way....
Nevermind, you can use his answer if you want. As far as I know this isn't a very strict thread.
Shoe size.
This is a very open ended question!
Okay, to paraphrase Ronway from memory:
* Batman is primarily a melee combatant while Wraith is mostly ranged.
* Wraith's parents are still alive, but criminals didn't attack Batman himself.
* Wraith makes little apparent effort to intimidate her foes; Bruce Wayne became Batman because he figured bats were frightening, but Maia whatsername became the Wraith because being stealthy made her feel safer, enabling her to fight crime and thereby make herself safer still. (Debatably, as a victim of violent crime herself, Wraith might have more of an ethical objection to terrifying or unnecessarily brutalizing the crooks she's taking down than Batman appears to, though of course Batman's attitudes vary wildly as different writers get a hold of him.)
* Wraith doesn't drive a Wraithmobile (as far as we know), but Batman doesn't usually turn household appliances into his iconic weapons.
* Though I haven't personally seen much evidence of this, Ronway also claims that Wraith has responded very positively to her membership in the Freedom #, whereas Batman's membership in the Justice League has always been sort of grudging and utilitarian...he would rather work alone, if he didn't need the League's help or they his, whereas Ronway opines that Wraith actively likes being a team player. (Which would make sense, given that SOTM is a team game; I picture Expatriette as being pretty much of a loner, but in general it's reasonable to assume that few of the characters of a cooperative game would turn up their nose at collaborating with their colleagues, even on relatively nonessential matters.)
Okay, moving on to a new question:
Which number of heroes (3, 4, or 5) is in the most danger when fighting in the Tomb of Anubis, generalizing across all games without reference to villain fought, specific heroes, card play order or other variables?
