SotM Quiz Game!

*Cough*Tempest*cough*

*cough*Visionary*cough*

Man I really screwed that answer up lol

Visionary was fighting against Gloomweaver when she became Dark Visionary.

Which environment is not represented in the Time Cataclysm?

The Final Wasteland.

Which two Citizens have card quotes from characters other than themselves?

Citizen Blood's card has a quote from Bunker. I don't remember the other one, and Citizen Tears I believe has a quote from Dawn.

Which heroes have multiple first appearances, and what did they appear as?

Bunker as Tyler Vance then Bunker. Mr. Fixer as Black Fist then Mr. Fixer.

Which Hero appears alongside Argent Adept when he gains his powers?

I'm guessing Ra, since Blake Washington is quoted on Xu's Bell which was the Argent's first instrument.

What issue of Sentinels comics is quoted in both Omnitron and Omnitron-X's decks?

Singularity #8

How many decks feature quotes taken from the Freedom Four/Five Annuals?

Seems like nobody knows. So what is the answer?

21: Absolute Zero, The Dreamer, Tachyon, Bunker, The Wraith, Gloomweaver, Fanatic, The Argent Adept, Akash'Bhuta, Chrono-Ranger, Expatriette, Ambuscade, Haka, Unity, Legacy, Mr. Fixer, Visionary, Tempest, Miss Information, Iron Legacy, Omnitron-X. And yeah, that was a stupidly difficult question. Here's a (hopefully) easier one: name three heroes whose cards have a quote from their human identity (eg. Tyler Vance for Bunker).

Absolute Zero-Cryo Chamber, Ra-Excavation, Argent Adept-Telamon's Lyra

Which hero decks contain quotes from Mr. Fixer?

Expatriette (Speed Loading), The Wraith (Trust Fund), and of course the man himself.

Many of the quotes in Tachyon's deck are references to which actor?

Neil Patrick Harris

The Ennead sure are a lot of gods, what are each of them gods of?

Not sure I'm understanding, are you wanting each of their roles in traditional Egyptian mythology or just the fact that they're Egyptian Gods?

Sorry! Should have made myself clearer. They're named after Egyptian gods, so what are they all gods of? Hit the wikipedia! Tangental Learning Experience!

Okay, I'll give you a freebe. Osiris, sometimes the son or Ra or father of horus (Egyptian mythology is a bit fragmented), is the Lord of the Underworld. He works with Anubis, who judges souls as they enter by measuring the weight of them with the feather of truth.

Now you know!

Got it. Let's see how many I can remember without wiki:

Geb - Earth

Nut/Nuit - Sky

Shu - Air

Tefnut - Water

Atum - Creator god

Set - War/Chaos

Isis - magic

...can't remember Nephtys

Atum - In the Heliopolitan creation myth, Atum was considered to be the first god, having created himself, sitting on a mound (benben) (or identified with the mound itself), from the primordial waters (Nu).[3] Early myths state that Atum created the god Shu and goddess Tefnut by spitting them out of his mouth

Shu - As the air, Shu was considered to be cooling, and thus calming, influence, and pacifier. Due to the association with air, calm, and thus Ma'at (truth, justice and order), Shu was portrayed in art as wearing an ostrich feather

Isis - She was worshipped as the ideal mother and wife as well as the patroness of nature and magic. She was the friend ofslavessinnersartisans, and the downtrodden, and she listened to the prayers of the wealthy, maidens, aristocrats, and rulers.[1] Isis is often depicted as the mother of Horus, the hawk-headed god of war and protection (although in some traditions Horus's mother was Hathor). Isis is also known as protector of the dead and goddess of children.

Set - In Egyptian mythology, Set is portrayed as the usurper who killed and mutilated his own brother Osiris. Osiris' wife Isis reassembled Osiris' corpse and embalmed him. Osiris' son Horus sought revenge upon Set, and the myths describe their conflicts. The death of Osiris and the battle between Horus and Set is a popular event in Egyptian mythology.

Nephthys - She is the sister of Isis and companion of the war-like deity, Set. As sister of Isis and especially Osiris, Nephthys is a protective goddess who symbolizes the death experience, just as Isis represented the (re-)birth experience

Nuit - She was originally the goddess of the nighttime sky, but eventually became referred to as simply the sky goddess.

Geb - Geb was the Egyptian god of the Earth and a member of the Ennead of Heliopolis. It was believed in ancient Egypt that Geb's laughter were earthquakes and that he allowed crops to grow.

What characters are relatives of each other?

I know one: Matty and Tachy are cousins.

The four Legacy's are related to each other, even though two of them are the same person. You also have the Dreamer and Omni-X who are different versions of the Visionary and Omnitron in time, but I don't know if that counts.

In which hero decks does Gloomweaver make a guest appearance?
