SotM Quiz Game!

Chip, the Time Pirate/RAF airman is seen stealing absolution.

What is Tempest's real name, and what could it possibly be a reference to?

Thanks a lot. I just put his real name into google, and I am still at work. I hate you.

Edit: his name is M’kk Dall’ton (called Mack Dalton on Earth).

And his name is a reference to the Martian Man Hunter

Which characters can not destroy environment cards?

I think it is a reference to the naming convention of Martians in the DC universe? As in, J'on J'onnz, and M'gann M'Orzz (sp?)

I dont have a question, so just shoot :P

The Scholar, Haka, Legacy, Bunker, Mr. Fixer, Ra, Absolute Zero, and Visionary do not have any methods to outright destroy environment cards in their decks.

Name the Sentinels that were not born in the United States.

Tempest, Haka, Fanatic, Expatriette, Omnitron-X, and Unity I do believe are all foriegn nationals of one type or another.

I'd also like to note that my question on Absolution has not been fully answered, there is another, though maybe steal may be too strong a word

As for a new question,

How many members of Roderick Ward's team were killed and who killed them?

Four team members were killed by ancient guardian mummies.

I'm guessing the other person who stole Absolution was Apostate.

Name each hero card that one of the Dreamer's projections appears on. Give the name of the card, the hero whose deck it belongs to, and which projection is depicted.

Omnitron-X was born in St. Louis, the same as Omnitron.  However, I would likely count Visionary among this number as well.  (Though the official line is "Unknown", her roots seem to be in Cold War Communist history, and the background speaks a lot about China.)

Counterpoint Bulwark, the Adept - Venomous Arachnoid

Throat Jab, Wraith - Macabre Spectre

Demoralisation, Visionary - Toymaster

Backfist Strike (I think? Might be "Thokk!"), Legacy - Dark Hero

Lightning Reflexes, Tachyon - Treacherous Ape

Those are all I can think of for now...might have missed one or two though...

Hoist Chain, Fixer - Granite Oni

Sacrosanct Matyr, Fantaic - Illusionary Demon

Those are the two you missed. You can ask the question, I don't feel like it.

Ahhh yes, damn, forgot those ones. Actually I wouldn't have remembered the Demon one because I think I've so far played Fanatic less than five times ever so I probably know her deck less well than that of any other hero. I really need to amend that at some point but there always seems to be another hero I want to play more :P.

Anyway, hmm, question...right...erm...

Okay this is from memory so I hope I've got this right...

There are two characters who have, in their fluff text on one of their cards, a snippet of dialogue in which they're telling someone to "Stop." (this isn't the only word in the dialogue but that specific command is there in both cases). Which two characters are speaking?

If there are only two We have the Dreamer on her card "Projected Paralysis" and we have The Scholar on his card Offensive Transmutation

What does Kismet take from Visionary?

Her memories.

Which hero doesn't have any ongoings, and which heroes lack equipment?

Unity has no ongoings. Scholar and Visionary are missing equipment.

What is the name of Mr. Fixer's auto repair shop?

Slim's Auto Shop

Who taught Nightmist her magic?

A coven of Witches, I believe from Arkham

How did Haka get his Ta Moko?

I think a Chinese guy named The Master taught Nightmist magic.

Haka used a sharp stick and snake venom to make his Ta Moko.

Which hero's real name is the same as their superhero name?

Omnitron-X

How many heroes can deal fire damage without assistance from another deck?

Zero, OmiX, Ra, Argent, Expat, Fixer, Fanatic, Chrono Ranger, Scholar and Bunker can all deal fire damage on their own.

Who was Visionary fighting when her brain blew a gasket and became Dark Visionary?
