I've been keeping a sort of eye around here through my work computer, but as it stands I can't record anything until I replace my equipment lost however many years ago in a move, or when my computer got trashed. I don't know anymore.
Anyway, I just moved (again) and will be building up again. I fear the whole project will have moved on by that point, but I can happily be a listener if that comes to be.
My night job is a stage actor! So there is that, eh?
If this project goes well, we may try to do a bigger more ambitious project which will require more people, and so you may have a chance to participate in the future.
Hey guys! So at the moment I only have auditions from two people. I know some of you guys need some time to prepare for your auditions, and that's fine, but I was thinking of maybe trying to have a Google hangout to try and speed up the process. The biggest obstacle to this will ironically be me. I live in Japan and am only really available during Saturday or Sunday, Friday and Saturday for you folks on the other side of the dateline, and it will probably have to be early in the morning for me. Anyways, it's something to think about.
We have a couple of people who have expressed interest in dealing with the technical aspects, but at this point, we could always use more hands. Sure, go ahead and send a demo.
Hey there. I know it's WAY early to even be thinking of it, but should the series (or multiple series, if we end up doing different radio shows for different groups/characters) I'd be more then interested in doing Setback, or something similar. Sadly, based on what I know of my voice, (given I can't hear it as other people do) it's the only one I feel I'd fit well, but I'm up for doing whatever is needed!
Feel free to audtion, that way at least the crew has a decent idea of what you can do with your voice. Ideally, Kyote, we’d love to expand the radio play. My original scripts are very large in focus, but as it stands we’re kind of a small, ragtag group, and for now it’s best to start with a smaller focus. Voice actors often play multiple roles in a show or movie, and so just because you get cast as one thing early on, doesn’t mean you can’t get another part once it becomes available.
Hey guys! So it's July now. I hope I'll be seeing some more audition material from some people so that we can cast and then finally start this thing up.
Interesting. I've always wanted to do some voice acting. I'll check out the audition material sometime this week. Might need to pick up a better mic first thought :\
So I'm going to bump this thread again. At the moment, I've only received auditions from three people...and it's almost the middle of July. First of all, thank you to the people who have sent me their material, it's much appreciated. I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but until I get auditions from everyone, this project is effectively on hold. I'd like to get started on the real work as soon as possible, and that means I need audition material for casting.
The reality is that I got handed an unexpected, urgent project on July 10th, so I won't even be able to begin to think about sending in an audition until the end of August, or later.
