Spirit Island Digital Campaign is Now Live!

Hey everyone! This just launched and I'm excited about it, so here you go! :)

Woohoo! :-D

I’m hoping it does well.

Hooray! I’m the lead developer at Handelabra Games, feel free to ask me any questions =)

Is it possible to get in on some alpha testing for Spirit Island? I’ll be your best friend!

We're not planning to have an alpha test for Spirit Island as the game doesn't lend itself well to a text-based interface. However there's a beta testing perk available on the campaign, so you can get in on that!

Will existing Handelabra playtesters also be playtesting, or do they need to back at the Beta Tester level to get in on the action? :-)

(And I like the "Why Indiegogo?" section? ;-)

Existing Handelabra beta testers will be invited to be a beta tester for the game when the time comes. No need to take the beta testing perk if you're backing us on the campaign, but we'd be happy to have your support as a backer at any level regardless!

Oh, I definitely backed! I was a little slow this time, though: I only made it in as #5. ;-)

Very excited!

Are all of the Stretch Goals things that could possibly still be added in the future, or are any of them now or never type things?

So excited that I backed on the Beta test level before even taking the time to read that existing Beta testers didn't need to. Went ahead and fixed that, and will now begin the process of hyping this up to everyone I know whose even heard of Spirit Island.

When backing, you have the option of donating money independent of your pledge level, so if you're already a Beta Tester and want to pledge $50, you can just do the $30 level, add on $20, and not take a spot in that tier from someone who isn't already a Beta Tester, right?

Good luck to everyone involved! Sadly I will have to wait until an iOS option is available, but the moment it is, my money they shall have.

@Bunston - Yep! I think you can pledge multiple times to do that.

Thanks for doing this. I'm wondering if it would be possible to allow players to implement their own fanmade spirits/scenarios/adversaries and possibly share them on the Steam workshop.

Right now we're focusing on official content, but Steam Workshop support could happen sometime down the road.
