So I've decided to change up some rules when I play with friends, especially if I have more than four over. In this case, I had six people, including me, so I decided to run an idea I'd had for a while. We had two villains at the same time, Spite and Ambuscade, and each of us had one hero. The way I saw this working was changing the (H) symbol to a static 3, so villains weren't overly powerful, but heroes had to choose if they were attacking Spite or Ambuscade with their attack(s), not both. This saw Tachyon and KNYFE focusing on Ambuscade, the Wraith and Bunker focusing on Spite, with the Argent Adept and Nightmist providing support to both "teams". The heroes won, though barely, as both villains had their turns consecetively. Here are the stats of the end game;
Tachyon - 1
KNYFE - Incapacitated
The Wraith - Incapacitated
Bunker - 2
The Argent Adept - 9
Nightmist - Incapacitated
Ambuscade was defeted just as Spite had received all his drugs, so interestingly,Spite became stronger when his ally died. Good timing.
The battle was fought in Megalopolis.
I've been thinking of other villains that could fight with this setting, and I believe Kismet, Baron Blade, Plague Rat and Deadline are possible choices. I deliberately avoided villains like The Chairman and Citizen Dawn due to their large target ratio. Can you imagine fighting both of them at once?
EDIT
I attempted a second test with my roommate today, using the same villains and the same environment. Here are the results;
Bunker: Incapacitated
Expatriette: Incapacitated
KNYFE: Incapacitated
Legacy: Incapacitated
Tempest: Incapacitated
Tachyon: 4
Ambuscade was concentrated on, but when Spite flipped he had ony one civillian in the safe house. We weren't ready and nearly got annihalated by Spite's drug-wracked menace. Still, it was still a win, if barely.
