This evening when I tried to enter a game, I just got a blank result, so I'm not sure if I entered that same data 0, 1, or 2 times.
I'm currently having the same problem with a blank result popping up.
When I using the form to add games, I also have the tracker up too, that way I can see if a 'blank' submission actually goes through or not.
yeah theres nothing i can do about that. Its gdocs being slow and not the best. If you get a blank white page it is not entering the data - try again in a ltitle bit.
Yeah, I get that sometimes - I click "submit" but the site just goes white for ages. Going back to the data entry page and trying again usually helps. Last night it wasn't even getting as far as the data entry page, and I just had a white screen when trying to access the page in the first place - I'm about to try again now so I can enter the data from this weekend.
i put in some more off switches on the formulas. The whole thing should load faster. Im not sure if it will be perfect,but it shoudl be a quite a bit faster
if it still doesnt seem tobe, ill go in and get the rest of them (the hard ones :P)
It's working now, thanks :). Finally uploading my stats from the weekend, which include our first ever defeat of Omnitron with devices still in play (which we then destroyed, though my character was Incapacitated in the final turn), and a total bastard of a game against the Chairman - we were doing okay and had flipped him but then the inevitable Prison Beak came out...for the first time we actually took down the Chairman before the Operative...and then got her onto ONE SODDING HP before the Thugs and stuff wiped us out. Dammit :P.
On the plis side, we kicked Citizen Dawn's arse with a minimum of fuss so that was alright :).
I did make one mistake in one of my stat entries, accidentally putting seven rounds instead of eleven for our fight against Akash'Bhuta in Insula Primalis (Legacy, Ra, Redeemer Fanatic) if that needs correcting...
fixed ameena, and added a few more off switches, and added PD Magnus mobile optimized randomizer to the selections as well
I thought this was interesting - its a little chart i found on the statistics page, showing the daily number of responses being entered since the survey oepned. Thats kinda cool

It might be interesting to add a feature to Sentinels Sidekick to help people submit their game information. At the very least, it can pop up the form. I would like to be able to prepopulate what I can if possible, to make the process quick and easy.
Are you planning to keep it in Google Docs for the forseeable future?
yeah - i know of no other way to do this outside of gdocs - i am not a programmer :P getting everything to work in gdocs was an adventure in learning excell code, let me tell you! (or bastardized version of it that gdocs use)
If someone wants to program something up that would take the data and correlate it and have it automatically add to the statistics page /with/ an import option to import the 1200 games we have currently... then please do!
And then host it too, cause i am poor man with not enough money to host it ;P

For the next version of Sidekick though I'll see about adding a way to at least present the form.

i cook at a University, as the catering chef (inc harge of all catering food for the events that are put on by the uni, and often thigns like the President of the Uni's lunch if he is having a special meeting)
