Just wondering... why are the baddies called The Opposition forces? It seems to me that they are the current established authority and if anything, the players are forming the opposition.
I think it's just the opposition to the players. Really, there are no villains, as all sides on this are kinda "bad" folks - some are just worse than others. 
It's a bit of a clunky term. I suspect it's general so that there can be lots of different flavors of enemies. Some might be "authority figures", some might be extradimensional aliens, maybe there's an entire race of Nyancats.
Okay, probably not the last one.
