The Proletariat

So, the third villain revealed is the Proletariat, the Soviet-themed multiplying man, who seems to have a bit of a grudge with Absolute Zero.

Everyone knew this would happen, but it's still pretty cool to see it confirmed. Also now he has a name.

All that's left for them to reveal is Tachy-not and Captain Blade.

I'm excited to see how his deck works. Based on how too many copies is a strain on him, I can picture him having cards that represent copies and buff his damage but cause him to harm himself, in a manner similar to AZ hurting himself to deal damage.

I am wicked excited for this guy.  His backstory is awesome, and parallels (without being a duplicate (pun intended) of) Absolute Zero's backstory quite well.  I've always liked his design, but his bio is even better!

If find it both ironic and somewhat cruel for Blade to have "built" this rivalry between The Proletariat and, from all men, a former janitor. Poor Absolute Zero, even his ennemies hate him for the wrong reasons. And keep multiplying.

Such apologism for the running dogs of the American government is just what I would expect from the hired lackeys of chauvinist imperialism.

(I may have read too many Lenin pamphlets in my youth).

Those are my exact thoughts. I think it's possible that every turn, a clone will do him one damage or something. Or maybe each of his clones will have * HP, where * is a certain number minus the number of clones in play.

I'd be surprised if it works this way since villain mechanics usually don't get repeated, but I would imagine the clones working like Akash'Bhuta limbs, where each target will have hit points but deal damage to the main villain card when defeated. That way damage dealt to the copies is felt by the main person.

Or maybe it could be that whenever a copy enters play, The Proletariat deals damage to himself equal to its HP to represent the siphoning off, and he has a card that allows him to reabsorb the copy and its HP. That way it would be different from Akash'Bhuta, while still having a similar theme. In Akash'Bhuta's case, she is becoming the land, trees or rocks. In The Proletariat's case he is siphoning off his own strength.

I'd like to see a bunch of 'minions' that deal damage to the heroes but also deal X-(H) to the villain character card, you'd need to weather the storm to see the benefit of having multiple minions out and I think that's sufficiently different to other villain mechanics out there.

It looks like some of my posts got deleted. That's weird. Anyways, as I had typed before, it might be possible that we'll create more clones the more we hit him, since that's essentially how his power started out. so maybe if he gets hit for something like 5 damage at once, that causes a clone to be put into play. But of course, the clone will still make him weaker somehow.

Maybe he normally does a huge amount of damage per attack, but it gets reduced per clone in play.

This guy has so many possibilities that I can't even begin to describe them. I've been anxiously awaiting to go up against him ever since he first appeared on Lead from the Front. Making him Absolute Zero's nemesis makes him that much cooler, not to mention being part of the Vengeance Five. Really hope it hits that 150k.

I've just realised the best thing about this guy. They'll be able to create titles for Sentinels Comics serials like Proletariat has no Country and The Dictatorship of Proletariat.

Best thing? I think not.

Wraith: "Where did Proletariat go?"

Haka: "He had to split."

That is the best thing, his ability to let Haka make the jokes he would tell his Kindergarten pupils, while doing his superheroing duties!
