So, most of the new additional rules for Vengeance boil down to "things that affect a villain only affect one of them." However, Legacy's card Take Down says "Villain cards cannot be played."
As currently phrased, that shuts down the entire Vengeful Five cycle. Is that the intended interaction, or is it intended to stop just one of them?
Which keeps him alive, and lets him deal damage. He is dangerous. It keeps him in play longer (and longer still than I thought from reading it the first several times). Therefore, it is dangerous. Not on its own, but it causes more danger to the heroes over time.
Didn't have anything to hitch up to this engine, but I couldn't help getting aboard a little bit.
Not that I'm trying to divert this thread onto a different track.
(I have to confess I get a little giddy as he crushes people, and heroes realize that the other villains are just distracting them long enough so that Fright Train can finish them)
Take Down's already immense usefullness is multiplied by 3-5 against the Vengeful Five. Sadly, Nightmist's Mistbound isn't quite as spectacular as it usually is. It's still good! Don't get me wrong! But it's no Vengeful Take Down.
