Vicious Onslaught question

Vicious Onslaught reads "Plague Rat deals each hero target other than the hero target with the lowest HP 2 melee damage and 2 toxic damage." My question is about the italicized part-what if the entire team except one person has been incapacitated? Doesn't that make him both the highest and lowest HP hero target? So... does this mean that hero does not take any damage from this attack, since he is the lowest HP target? I guess the same question can be generalized to all instances where other than the hero target with the lowest/highest HP can be found...

A follow up question. What if all heroes (more than 1) were at the same HP, making all of them simultaneously the lowest and highest HP targets?

I will be very grateful to anyone who can shed some light on this, and I apologize if this has been posted previously.

If there is only one Hero Target, Vicious Onslaught will do no damage.  There are no Hero Targets other than the Hero Target with the lowest HP.  Note that attacks like this are rare, typically they specify who they hit rather than who they don't.

If all Hero Targets are tied, then you still choose one to be the lowest HP and Plague Rat hits the rest.  It's just the reverse of an attack that goes for the lowest HP, where you have to break the tie and choose one to be considered the lowest.

Okay thank you! :)

Dont forget that a card without HP is not a target. So incapicated heroes, not having HP, are not targets and are not taken into consideration.
