Villain Creation Example?

As I wont be able to get the game until its released to the public in January hpefully, would you guys be kind enough to run some detailed villain creation examples so i can get my head round how villains and their creation works?

thks in advance

Copy+pasting from the pdf, a section called The Process, in relation to making villains. This does not give examples or concrete numbers, just an idea of what you're going to do, in order.

• Come up with a concept
• Choose a villain’s approach on pages 208-219:
a villain’s core stats, plus how they enact their
villainous goals when confronting the heroes
• Assign powers using the list on page 47
• Assign qualities using the list on page 47
• Assign abilities from their approach
• Choose a villain’s archetype on pages 220-234:
the general method of how they operate as a villain, what drives them, and what they care about in an action scene
• Gain status dice from their archetype
• Assignabilitiesfromtheirarchetype
• Add upgrades on pages 235-238 (optional)
• Add a villainous mastery on page 238 (optional) • Determine Health total on page 239 by adding
up the values from their approach, archetype,
Ⓗ times 5, and any upgrades • Add finishing touches

So the main two decision points apart from picking individual powers, abilities etc is to decide the villains approach and archetype?

Those are the main two for every villain.  You also should consider Masteries/Upgrades

Do you mind explaining what Masteries/Upgrades are? thanks in advance.

Mastery's for villains give them an ability to overcome like heroes but they don't roll for it.
Upgrades can hit a lot of things from extra health, specialized/extra minions, and upgraded die size

Thank you, are there any detailed examples of villain creation on the forums or any podcasts or videos that people can point me to?

There are none that I'm aware of.

The best I can think of is the first season of their RPG streams having the GM prep sessions. I'm not sure how illuminating to the process it would be, though.
