I think its because you can choose which member you want in the group thats my thought
Certainly!
In The Celestrial Tribunal there is a card, Representative of Earth, that brings forth a Hero Character Card from the box. If that Hero were to ever be incapped the game is over! There is also a card, Character Witness, that allows a Hero to use the power of the Hero that is currently representing Earth. When I played a game earlier using it, I chose Guise as Earth's representative. I also was playing as The Adamant Sentinels. So when I had someone use Guise's power, I obviously had Mainstay do it. This allowed for another power use, followed by a play. Oh the fun!
Edit: Whoopsies! I had just realized it doesn't mean that Mainstay deals the damage. Fortunately, the card play would still be The Sentinels, which dealt damage, so the only thing that changes is when the additional power was used.
If Guise is the Representative of Earth, may the judge have mercy on our souls.
Nice! What other kind of mechanics does the Tribunal have?
I know, right?! ![]()
Thematically, there is so much fun to be had with this. We picked Guise and laughed our heads off. We picked Newest Legacy (with Legacy in play) and imagined how messed up that would be. We picked Redeemer Fanatic and imagined her telling them how she agreed that so many were not worthy, possibly including herself…
The Celestrial Trubunal brings back the keyword Trial, the cards that have it are placed next to a target. Then you have the Tribunal AI, one type deals damage to Targets next to Trial cards and if damage was not dealt it will instead play a card. The other reduces damage dealt to Environment targets and will also reveal cards from the Environment deck to get a Trial into play. Not only does the Represenative of Earth bring forth a new Hero, but it is also a Trial next to said Hero. That Hero also only has a max of 10 HP. Another thing, due to it being a Hero target, it will be targeted by the Villain as well. So this Environment can be very deadly when the Villain hits the everyone or even just the lowest. However! The same card that allows Heroes to use the power of the Represenative will also allow every target next to a Trial to heal (H) HP if each player discards a card.
Edit: Made the text white, just in case someone who likes playing the deck at least once without know too much about it.
I think we would be alright. Fanatic on the other hand…
According to FedEx, mine isn't shipping yet. I didn't order the villain card pack, so I don't know what's going on. This is why shipping updates are very important when sending packages out…
I could definitely see that… I could also see the Tribunal judging her worthy for such because she showed humility and lacked hubris.
where did they say this?

Now that we're all back, we can continue getting these packages out the door. We've also received the Oversized Villain Cards, so, if you're waiting on those, you don't have much longer now.
The way they phrased it, I understood it as the preorders containing oversized cards may come later than ones without them
The only special piece in shipping regarding Oversized Villain cards was that those who had long standing preorders on them would get shipped out before anything else.
Awesome! Thanks Ronway
A bit unfotunate that they don't get new incap powers like all the other heroes.
Charlottesville, VA here and I don't have mine, but you've given me hope that it should be here very very soon. How are people tracking their orders? Obviously we didn't receive tracking numbers.
check fedex manager did you order the oversize villain cards with your order
Does villains still have that requirement that if baron blade is used then he must go first like in Vengence?
I’ve always interpreted the note about Baron Blade going first as a suggestion rather than a requirement.
Yeah, so I guess that might be it. Little sad that that means I get mine later, but oh well. As for Fedex Manager, I've been trying to update my address and it won't let me. Have to wait until tomorrow apparently for their tech support people to be in.
Yeah. Thematically it makes sense, but variety is better for longer term interest.
As for, “does that appear in this rulebook?” I don’t know, having not received my copy yet, (maybe today…) But I would imagine not.
Vengeance was HIS party. He organized it, and he was the leader of the group – you know him well. In this case, it’s a team effort. Like an Injustice League, rather than a Sinister Six.
He's finally back…to kick some tail!
I would not have expected a DK64 reference.
