Whose Tim Cosing?

ISBN 9782819931171  = Wasteland

man...

rescanned and got :

40447285

rescanned, yet again, and got:

$i6>31KupVMD

EDIT:

The one before was:

?ctlr1KupV>

which also had "1KupV" in it... strange...

I'm sure the actual result will probably be a full number though.

this really is not a good sign if the scans do end up mattering

I do but this is the only book in the game with a name on the cover that I've ever noticed.

If so…

Count left to right 1000, up 5?

Rescanned again, sigh:

73084020

Tim, our mysterious overlord, may have to tweet when we have the right number from these scans, lol…

Edit: guess I should list the code Julia got when she scanned:

53130020

We were stalled on decoding the bot speech balloon and going down some dead-end paths, so I suspect he "checkout" and "bookstore" tweets were clues to help us realize that we needed to plug those bot HP numbers into a different tool... like the checkout counter of a bookstore, and when it matched The Wasteland (a book that already appears on card art), we knew we were back on track.

Isn't Nighmist's card with the book on it named 'Tome of [Something]'? It's been a long day.

Hey, hey, hey. Don't go using my title in vain.

;)

sigh tempted to be evil and create a code that just runs through all 9 combination of letters and numbers in the url and if it says "page not found" to just jump to the next one.

Naw I am to lazy.

Its called Tome of Elder Magic but the book itself only shows an eyeball.  That book does not have a title on the cover.

For what it's worth, I was finally able to get my phone to scan the barcode, and I received 06430962.

maybe the barcode is all of those things at once

eventually one of these scans will be right.  I gotta post them all as I scan, though, because who knows, this may in fact be it:

?itay1Q1pV>A

Edit:

Jorcbrow scanned:

06430962

How were people seeing Morse code in the bar code?

There is a new tweet. Might wanna scan that one

Is is also bitly1QupVMD ?

Because I got that twice. But I'm pretty sure it only scanned half the code each time.

The card isn't animated, but the eyeball blinks the title in morse code.

The dots and dashes below the "=232D2D2D". They're much less pronounced on the reload.
