Whose Tim Cosing?

Wow, a huge bonanza of story goodness!  Thrilling to follow.  Thanks to everyone who worked hard to figure it out.

The comic pages look amazing.  Poor Legacy got a serious beating.  :(  Also, in the mega computer page, Wraith looks so much more like herself than a generic female face.  (As Adam had been refining his style, I felt like some of the original quirky characteristics of her face were lost, but they are shown really clearly here, particularly in the shape of her eyes.  Plus: look, Silverleaf!  Shoulder straps!  :D)

So it looks like what most people had surmised is true: Progeny is just a harbinger of worse things to come, and whatever it ultimately serves will probably be the Big Bad for the final expansion.  Being European, I don't have my copy of Villains of the Multiverse yet, but I am still very excited to see where all this is going.  Any and all news about the final expansion is welcome.

Could you explain in more detail how you got to Harbinger? I'm at a loss

Each screen had a color, that corisponds to a page number in the villains rulebook

Based upon the flavor text of each matching card, we grabed a letter a number of characters in equal to the page number

Together forming the sequence "formofthe" which since this ARG is about progeny, is most of the name of the form of the harbinger card

A page I'm surprised that doesn't work is http://sentinelsofthemultiverse.greaterthangames.com/reckoning

fun fact, the barcode is the previous bar code reversed

Does reversing the number sequence produce anything when paired with the previous cipher? As I'm in the EU, I can't really do anything other than ask questions :P

blinks furiously

I'm seriously outclassed in this forum.

That's crazy good stuff out of you.

What Kitmehsu said, sorry if I wasn't as clear in the first post, I was a little pumped about having gotten it at all (been rolling it around since I got up.)

So is that the end of the bread crumb line right now since the barcode for Harbinger didn't lead anywhere?

At the moment it would seem.

Wow...this is most probably the longest thread that's ever popped up in my less-than-a-day absence from a forum :O.

I think it may be worth pointing out this dialoge from the Bunker-Wriath comic:

"Look at the screens"

"Which one"

"All of them. Start at the top, left to right. It's all there"

The harbinger comic is also Freedom Five 767. Is there any cards with flavor text from there?

Beginning of the End from Progeny's deck

It's referenced on Progeny's card "Beginning of the End." But it looks like we're past that in the storyline at this point.

Here's the flavor text:  "We're too late. It's already in Megalopolis. And I don't think we can stop it." -The Wraith, Freedom Five #767

A timeline that RySmith6 and I made up only has 5 cards from Progeny that span this point in time in the comics: Scion of Blight, Obvious Futility, Hour of Reckoning, Scion of Frost, and Beginning of the end.

If we're talking about the FFannual

its: Progeny:Elemental Outburst, Scion of the Storm, Time Of Tribulations; Parse:Reveal the Flaws; KNYFE: Overdo It

after reading the new page of the comic I wonder if Hit and Run has anything to do with it. I feel like there is another page at least, maybe leading towards the reveal of the next expansion?

Man, it was just me and good old CornCakes in here when I went to bed last night.

Excellent work by all here!

Did we get anything out of the word "intervene" or its font?

Seems like a rather odd choice of word to not be a clue to something.

Match the colors of the word intervene to the page numbers in villains and see if that gets us something.

Using the number string from the "Harbinger" comic barcode?
