1000 Blank White Cards - We broke the game in 7 rounds

Frst, ' brea THS out:

Gvng me 4 whoe nternets!

Then, for my second card pay, ' ead rght nto THS

Httng Meze twce and Svereaf twce, so they each ose 600 ponts and ther next 2 turns! A ABOARD THE RAGE TRAN!

(Everyone but mysef and Meerat are beng targeted here. Just because eye can't type certan etters doesn't mean eye can't target who eye want, rght?)

Silly Match-3 Game being played four times

In succession does rather amuse me.

(Also, I think that I may be about

To bring this game to something of a close...)

so, what happens if I use Elan on this card play? would that transfer all four effects to one player, just the two that hit me, or only one of them?

Yeah, I know this is another -60 points, but actually want an answer hence the more coherent post. Normal madness will be resumed shortly.

Since Elan was played before the card quadrupler, there is only one of him. However, I think that since only the EFFECTS are applied 4x, there is still just one card being played, with four targets. Two of these targets are you. Therefore, you may "redirect" that singular card, which I guess means reapplying all its effects as you see fit! If any of the card authors want to clarify on this, that'd be great. For now, let's go with this, though.
(Also, you don't need to put "ub" before silent "e"s in Ubbi Dubbi. Just the vowels that make sounds.)

It's apped three DFFERENT TMES n successon, so Ean woud ony boc the frst, and aso gve Ean to whoever you redrect the effect to, meanng that you coudn't do t a second tme.

N Successon beng the operatve words.

It's four times in succession (cos I'm cute),

But otherwise I agree with McBehrer.

OK, that makes sense.

So Mezike, are you going to use Elan to redirect one of the aplications of that card?

Okay, I don't want to slow down the game, so you have to make a decision on who gets the redirected card, if anyone, in 3 hours from the time this is posted. You've had plenty of time already to respond. Otherwise, I'll just assume nobody gets it and you take both applications.

EDIT: Aaaaand time's up! Sorry, Mezike, I gotta move the game along. Looks like Elan stays where he is for now.

Recap Time!

BlueHairedMeerkat turned up the heat on McBehrer with a fiery jinx that ruined his keyboard. Mezike turned up the insanity on a global level with some recursive engineering, which Meerkat’s magical girl enhanced to a whopping QUADRUPLE-THE-EFFECTS-ON-ALL-FUTURE-CARDS CARD! McBehrer was quadruply-confused at first, but soon got the hang of it and distracted Silverleaf and Mezike with an addictive puzzle game, twice each.

BlueHairedMeerkat's turn!

Ignore me, I'm an idiot.

Okay.

Right, my turn! I plan to build up such a head of steam this turn that typing in iambic pentameter would get restrictive and annoying, so I'll take the -50. SO, I shall discard Attempted Murder to summon the game-ending monster that is Ronway:

So, I shall retrieve the top three cards of the discard pile and play them. First, I shall put down Wait, What?

That nets me four internets, but I really don't plan to stop there. Next up, the card I just discarded:

And I'm going to pile all of those on McBehrer (sorry McBehrer, I swear I'll even it out later). And, finally, my piece de resistance:

Again, all dropped on McBehrer, so he misses his next four turns (sorry). But am I done? Am I heck! Because now I get to use the effect of Summon Ronway THREE MORE TIMES :D

Four internets for me.

-2000 points for Silverleaf.

Another -1200 for Silverleaf, and she misses her next five turns (counting the one McBehrer already played).

And again! :D

In the interests of spreading the love, I shall give an internet to each of my compatriots as well as myself with this play.

-2000 to Mezike.

And another -1200, and a total of six turns missed (and yes, you could certainly Elan one of these onto me, but I'm still missing fewer turns than the rest of you, and having checked with Alex I can tell you that it's next turn I'd miss, not the rest of this one [not that that matters all that much...]).

Once more, with FEELING!

My internets. Mine.

Two to McBehrer, one to Silverleaf, one to Mezike.

Two to McBehrer, one to Mezike, one to Silverleaf.

Wizard training; it's really quite powerful :D

So, assuming no Elaning, I make that:

  • +50 points and 13 internets to me.
  • -4000 points, +1 internet and another five turns missed to Mezike and Silverleaf.
  • -4800 points, +1 internet and six turns missed to McBehrer.

And I can pull off this combo on every single one of my future turns...

Looks like someone broke the game.

And this is why Ronway is the greatest.

Damn it, Ronway...

Wow.

Just Wow.

Wheeeeeeee

I had a feeling Beginner's Spellbook would prove OP, but I wasn't expecting this...

It was more of a huge combination of cards that caused it, rather than the spellbook alone. What are the odds that this combo will ever appear again?
