The reason Im leaning away from monkey is because its tail is thin and pointed instead of round and fuller. also four fingers. But its hard to say
Can we assume that the miniatures for the Sentinel Tactics boxes will be an add-on and not included, as with the original Sentinel Tactics Kickstarter? Not to gripe; merely trying to budget. I'm gonna need a new board game bookshelf.
There goes my New Year's resolution to be more financially responsible. That didn't take long...
There is certainly lore we do not know about and in that lore is the answer as to why they are there. I am looking foward to seeing how it plays out.
Core games can be played w/out any other games. Expansions require that one has a Core game. So someone who owns nothing could buy the second core game and start playing without owning anything else.
Me too! I certainly agree. I just am wondering out loud why they are being used in the Vengeance format as opposed to the Promo format for decks they already have. Lore could certainly justify it though no doubt.
Maybe LaCapitain lost her crew after her last major defeat (or assembled a totally new crew), which would explain why using her original deck wouldn't make much sense.
New Plauge Rat could be given a lot more tech based powers and breeding, needing little mini rat targets and such.
Ambuscade's is, I'm assuming, because he teams up with the Slaughterhouse 6 and will feature those targets in his deck, hence why the promo format wouldn't be as appropriate.
Maybe the box cover is depicting one of the environments and it's all a trick!
Ambuscade Environment confirmed.
Cool. Looking forward to more details Monday.
Wait…where?
La Capitan minus her boat would change her a lot.
Did anyone else notice that there are 11 people on the Villains box? But we are told that we are getting 10 super-powered villains.
Thoughts?
Is that Spite I see on BftBC? That is something I could definitely go for. Then we'd just be a Plague Rat away from all the Rook City heroes and villains being playable characters. c:
Anvil + Hammer. That's my guess.
This will really open up Vengence-style games. The complexity is high, but should be fun.
Yeah you don't get to split citizen combos, that said the game combinations this expansion can lead to assuming Vengeful are compatible are bewildering, can't wait to see if Ermine keeps top spot as you get to die as quickly and painful as possible...
It was a joke. I was riffing off MigrantP's post immediately above mine.
I wonder if that's the final content. Post in the BGG thread about this was comparing the numbers of cards to this to Vengeance and it's about 100 less cards for the same price. I wonder if some of the unlocked stuff will add to that.
Vengeance added an environment to the final box during its kickstarter didn't it? Its possible it could happen again.

I noticed this as well. At least one of them has to be a minion from a main villian's deck, though I wouldn't be supprised if everyone that isn't Ambuscade is just a minion from Ambuscade's deck.
Citizen Hammer/Anvil go together. There is zero chance they are seperate decks.
