so what clue do you want destroyed by miss information when she flips
I think that I have the fewest One-shots in my deck of anyone, so I would be the logical choice to reveal a card. That card would be the Defensive Blast (Ongoing, Limited) that I would have drawn had Missing Resources not been played. Does this work for everyone?
You are a logical choice, but I think you should reshuffle your deck before doing this reveal - we shouldn't be able to use the specific knowledge about the card.
I don't want to reshuffle my deck, but if you think I should...
What do the rest of you think.
And as far as destroying a clue goes:
Let's see. Our clues are:
What doesn't kill you... x2
Suspicious Malfunction
Isolated Hero
Insider Knowledge x2
Misplaced Memo
Concealed Betrayal
I only count 8 clues. Did I miss one somewhere?
I think that we should blow up the Suspicious Malfunction. I think that that minimizes the damage that we take.
I would agree to destroy suspicious malfunction first.
It's a close call between Suspicious Malfunction and What Doesn't Kill you in terms of which causes more damage, I think. We'll be getting lots of instances of damage coming our way, currently all boosted by 2.
Each What Doesn't Kill You adds 12 damage per turn to the team (plus whatever reaction damage we get). Suspicious Malfunction adds 8*(5-x) damage per turn to the team. Unless we destroy 4 or 5 equipment cards, Suspicious Malfunction does more damage.
Anyhow. Since nobody else has said anything, I'll reshuffle my deck and reveal the top card for Missing Resources. I revealed - Innervation Ray (Equipment, Component). I discard my Electro-Deployment Unit.
Then I draw Reset and end my turn (for reals this time)
HP: 25
Hand: Reactive Plating Subroutine, Reset
In play: Ablative Coating
Trash: Technological Advancement, Electro-Deployment Unit, Innervation Ray
Effects: 2 DR for Melee, Projectile, and Toxic Damage (Ablative Coating)
Tempest discards Elemental Subwave Inducer.
I think you got your arithmetic a little wrong: I think it's 5*(7-x) damage from Suspicious Malfunction. (Remember she will flip, and no longer get the damage boost.) But I had also miscalculated What Doesn't Kill You, and I agree that Suspicious Malfunction makes sense unless we're lucky enough to get a Meteor Storm.
My turn remains unchanged. The turn for the Sentines may change though.
Nope. Suspicious Malfunction is heroic self-damage, so it doesn't get boosted by What Doesn't Kill You. And it's every hero target, not every hero, so each Sentinel gets hit. 8*(5-x).
Boy, I’m doing great on my arithmetic today.
Well, I've got Mental Divergence so I can take out at least one Clue on my turn
And Tempest has got Ball Lightning, so that's two more Clues gone.
Now I just need to draw Sedative Fletchettes, and we'll have to clues cleared in no time!
We’re just waiting on grysqrl with the Sentinels, right?
Yes I’m guessing he’s not tonnage use extract on miss info.
So if I don't get an answer today I will consider grysqrl turn unchanged. I believe he might want to use extract on the environnment deck instead what do you guys think about it? I'm afraid if this waits too long we'll lose track.
I believe grysqrl is at GenCon, and that's the reason for the long delay here. But maybe the long delay is too much anyway?
With the incoming damage he may want to do Block instead of Extract.
I'm willing to wait until GenCon its over before resuming. But if we want to automate grysqrl's turn, I would expect him to block
I talked to grysqrl today. He has no internet access until Sunday, and was happy with a Block.
