Challenge Accepted 2: A long dangerous useless trip

Ok as soon as I get enough time for the monster post I'll do it.

Okay, decisions we will have to make:

Which Clue is being destroyed (we already decided Suspcious Malfunction)

Which card is destroyed by Concealed Betrayal (either Localized Hurricane or Ablative Coating)

There are a couple of optional discards and destructions to destroy Clues and Diversions, but I don't think we really want to do any of them.  Any diversion we kill will be revived anyways.

 

Did I miss anything?  Besides possible lowest/highest hero decisions?

 

In the interest of taking less damage, I think that we should lose Localized Hurricane rather than Ablative Coating, but if you want to hang on to it, I don't mind losing the coating.

I assumed we were going to lose everything in play? In any case, do please take Localized Hurricane as soon as possible. (I have another one in my hand if I want it back.)

Sorry for that delay, all. I expected to have access while at GenCon, but something went wrong whenever I tried to sign in. I'm back now and can revise my turn, but I need to know about Isolated Hero. Obviously, that goes to the Sentinels. However, it gets played next to a hero character card. Does that count as being next to all of my character cards or just one of them? If just one, can it go next to the rules card and essentially have no effect? It shouldn't impact my turn, but we should figure it out if there isn't already an answer out there.

edit: This would be similar to Infection from Plague Rat. You should get to choose which of the four heroes is impacted. 

Never mind. I was thinking that it affects the character card, but it affects the hero and that hero's cards, so there's no way around it. It still gets played next to a particular character card, but the choice is moot.

Extract on the environment revealed Villainous Weaponry, i believe the card grysqrl was searching for so I took the liberty of discarding it.

Effects:

- Reduce all fire damage by 3 (Oxygen Leak)

- At the start of the environment turn, deal each target x toxic damage where x = the number of cards in the environment trash (1) (Oxygen Leak)

Oxygen Leak seems pretty minor all around right now. I don't think Miss Information ever deals fire damage. Shall we keep it for now? Or is one of us wanting to deal fire damage?

Only issue with leaving it out is that we will all take damage but Miss Information won't.   I can discard the bounty in my hand.  

I don't see any benefit to keeping it around.  The cost won't get any lighter, and we won't ever see any benefits from it unless Fire in the Biosphere comes out, and in the mean time its hurting us (and the Sentinels are particularly hurt by mass damage).  I say get rid of it.  

By all means, get rid of Oxygen Leak--I forgot about The Sentinels.

Aw. I was hoping for a Meteor Storm. Oh well. Agreed to get rid of Oxygen Leak.

I'll discard my bounty in hand to destroy Oxygen Leak unless anyone has an objection.
