I will start by saying thanks to Matchstickman for not posting this thread already http://theletterspage.libsyn.com/episode-40-guise
I’m saddened by the fact I won’t be able to listen immediately to this.

You and me both, dude. Gotta wait til after work. :/
Well, that makes it kind of awkward, to be the first one with comments...
I've gotta say, the "47 different things" he wanted to make just stabbed me thru the heart. I saw it coming, but oof, that was emotional.
And I love the Wager Master roommate bit, and especially how that explains them being primary nemesises so perfectly. It is the exact kind of ridiculousness that works for those two characters.
But, in the end, I don't know if there was a lot of new information. I mean, we got the exact stories to a degree, but there wasn't a lot of stuff beyond that. I don't know, it just wasn't what I expected for some reason.
Guise found Trevor oh no D:
It was everything I wanted, with the big exception of the note at the end where they say the Scholar lives on through Guise and Guise goes to the Void to find the Scholar and make him a new body and they both ride back to earth on a space unicorn rainbow and everything is happy and no one has to die ever again ;_;
No, but the reason why Guise and Wager Master are nemeses is fantastic. I cracked up so hard. :D This really was the best episode ever, and it was all thanks to the best hero ever.
I was pretty entertained by finding out that the Green Grosser is actually Caleb's (presumably embarrassing) hippie brother who would probably fit right in with the Liberal Crime Squad... but otherwise just kinda found it to be a mildly amusing diversion I admit.
Also Powerhound asked a lot fewer questions than I thought he was going to.
I can post the Letters I wrote if you’d like. I wrote three different letters and they all had a lot of questions. I’m guessing others probably wrote the same questions as I did or they go over it in the overview.
I'm a little confused about the timeline, I thought that the Deadline event was before progeny, but this seems to say the opposite or maybe I'm mistaken?
Wait....Powerhound likes Guise? Since when? New to me!
:P
I was just joshing you, honestly. (Since I wrote a ridiculous amount of questions for Argent's episode and ended up with three that nobody else asked, so I can't actually seriously talk.)
I asked a question about Apostate's Pants. I mena, who am I to judge?
I do feel like it's entirely reasonable to have an interest in Apostate's pants, tho.
I wrote a letter with questions directly to Guise and they didn’t go through it oh well. Having listened now I am surprised I’m the only one who addressed Guise in their greeting. Overall, I tried to come into this episode with no expectations and I will say this was great. Christoper and Adam were a bit mean to their guest but he did just barge in.
I was hoping to get some information on his Prime Wardens appearance and what happened in Super Ultra Kawaii!!!!
Of all the questions I've sent in, I am so glad they answered the one about Cueball.
(Slightly disappointed they didn't seem to pick up on the "balls are inert" ref, but I guess you can't have everything.)
So I’m curious why is the first appearance of Santa Guise in the video game listed as The Banana Game #1 when clearly it was part of the “Guise’s Biggest Book Ever Christmas Spectacular!”
I must say after listening to the episode, I am NOT a disappoint.
Kinda wish C&A were a bit nicer to Guise since he IS the best and most wonderful hero to ever be in this or any other reality, but maybe they were just cranky since they didn't get their daily morning banana.
Curse you, Green Grocer!
Scrolling thru Adam’s Twitter for art when I saw this x.com and thought it was about Apostate.
EDIT: Also, Guise’s warm cocoa idea is genius. Lukewarm cocoa, though…
I got it, if it makes you feel any better. Had a solid laugh. ![]()
Hot cocoa is great and cold cocoa is just chocolate milk which is great, but everything in between is a curse.
You can lead shark to water, but you can’t make…
Wait…
You can throw a shark in water, but it will have to keep swimming for the rest of its life or it’ll die.
Just like a horse.
Case closed.
