I guess the interesting tidbit is that we now have a very general idea what Caleb likely also looks like (since Green Grosser's transformation just changed his hair and skin color, not his actual looks).
I mean, there's a reason Medico snapped him up, after all. :V
Who was it who did the excellent Green Grocer cosplay at Gen Con? I thought that Christopher’s Green Grocer voice was very similar to that cosplay. (Maybe they are both based on the video game?)
Oh, I'm going to be completely honest here: I modeled my Green Grosser voice after that cosplayer's voice. I originally had a different voice for the Green Grosser in my head, but that guy just NAILED the character and took over my mental space of how Green Grosser sounds.
Question that I must know the answer to now that this episode has me interested in the Green Grosser:
Does the Green Grosser call his shopping list the Green Grossier?
I didn’t really expect them to read my letter this time: I asked if Guise ever shilled for Hostess Fruit Pies. That was before they started the whole “no brand names” gag, after which I was kind of hoping they would read it so that they could blame Guise for overharvesting of the rare and endangered Shmoot.
I guess I'm in the minority on this subject, since I think the two easily sound different enough to tell appart, even before the changes in audio quality.
Maybe it's because I've heard both voices seperatly for a while before they were put together in the same 'room'.
In the intro to the future section, I had the sneaking suspicion that Guise sounded like the guy who does, uh, Shmonest Shrailers.
That cosplayer has taken over more than your mental space. I went back and looked at Green Grosser's card and was surprised that he was skinny!
That is amazing
Something I caught during this latest listen, which I missed back when this first went live (Chaosmancer did notice, and presumably others did, I freely admit to being dumb here). When Guise says he had “47 things I wanted to do with bananas!” it’s clear that, as much as he’s still being a goofball, he did notice that something tragic just happened, and this is his way of dealing with it. It’s essentially a sort of trauma response; he’s not going to consciously acknowledge that 47 innocent people just died, but he is going to avenge them and do the right thing, even if he’s refusing to acknowledge that.
(PS C&A tried so hard to keep Trevor insulted from Guise, only to fail at the last second.)
