Trash: Offensive Transmutation.

-----------------

Thoughts: Great, now I have a nuke. If my HP becomes dangerously low next turn, I'll Turn Loose.

Everyone watch out, Ketigid has just turned himself into a rogue nation.

Updating the google doc and then I'll play the environment.

The google doc is updated and I found a couple of errors in above posts.

Ronway - Shamise was already at 5 HP, it's now at 4 HP.

ketigid - Alchemical Redirection is in play, not in your trash.

Start of the Environment Turn - Decision Time!

We need to decide if we want to get rid of The Challenge of Fire now, and if so who is going to discard what. Each player may discard up to 3 cards, and we need to discard 7 in total to destroy it. It will deal Scholar a hojillion damage otherwise.

Omnitron-X can easily discard 2 or 3 cards (Self Sabotage, Reset, and maybe something else) and still get rid of Backlash Field (via Disruptive Flechettes). So we need 4 or 5 more if we want to do that.

Got it. Updated.

There are 9 hero targets, so 18 fire damage to Scholar. No problem. :)

If we get rid oof the Backlash Field on Omni's turn, the Scholar can tank that damage, barring another damaging environ card or Slash and Burn.  If we want to play it safer, I can drop 1-2, but need to keep at least 1 for the Flash Forge

I can totally discard 3 cards. I'll ditch research Grant, Pushing the Limits, and Hyper Sonic Assualt.

Seems like we can avoid the damage with 1 or 2 more discards. We might need those 18 HP =)

I can discard up to 3 cards as well, Mortal Form to Energy, Solid to Liquid, and 1 other card.

Well how about we do that then.

Omnitron-X discards 2: Self Sabotage, Reset

Tachyon discards 3: Research Grant, Pushing the Limits, Hyper Sonic Assault

Scholar discards 2: Mortal Form to Energy, Solid to Liquid

That makes 7 cards, to destroy The Challenge of Fire.

I'll go ahead with that unless there are any objections in the next bit, or if the other discarders unilaterally agree =)

Plus someone will get the Rod of Anubis, who wants it? Perhaps Scholar, Tachyon, or Unity? It has a power that deals 1 target 2 infernal damage.

Unity's going to use her power to get another Raptor Bot in play next turn

If no one else wants it, Scholar will take Rod of Anubis so that he has a damage dealing power to use.

Tomb of Anubis

Start: The discards happen as above, and The Challenge of Fire is destroyed. The Rod of Anubis goes to The Scholar.

Play: Idol of Anput.

End: Shamise cannot deal damage, so nothing happens.

Sorry for the delay.

Round 4

N/A

Baron Blade - Vengeful Mad Scientist

HP 30

Cards in Play

Elemental Redistributor HP 2, Backlash Field x2

Trash (4) Hasten Doom, MDPx3

Additional Effects in Play

Advanced: Damage reduction = 1

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTES:

I wanted someone to confirm all the damage before I updated the doc.

Alchemical Redirection means the Scholar take:

OX = 2, Unity = 2, Raptor Bot x2 = 4, Platform Bot = 2, Bee Bot = 2, Haka = 7, Tachy = 2, Scholar 2

For a grand total of 23. Scholar HP = 6

Actually have a question: Would Scholar take 1 or 2 from Platform Bot?

Fixed! Thanks Ronway!

EDIT: I feel like an idiot. We just did that calculation for the Challagen of Fire. Anyway updating the doc.

It would still be 2 from Platform bot, along with 2 from the Bee bot.

Looks like the Scholar needed that 18 HP after all!

Omnitron-X

Start: Gaussian Coil Blaster - 1 damage to Elemental Redistributor (now at 1 HP), 1 damage to Shamise (now at 3 HP), third target declined.

Play: Disruptive Flechettes, destroying both Backlash Fields. Elemental Redistributor is destroyed, Shamise is hit for 2 (now at 1 HP), Baron is hit for 1 (now at 29 HP).

Power: Rocket Punch, dealing 1 damage to Baron (now at 28 HP) and 1 damage to Shamise (destroyed). Who wants the Idol of Anput? It has Power: Regain 2 HP.

Draw: Focused Plasma Cannon

End: nothing

--------------------

HP: 25

Hand: Technological Advancement, Defensive Blast, Elemental Exochassis, Focused Plasma Cannon (2)

Trash: Disruptive Flechettes (2), Technological Advancement, Reset, Self Sabotage

In Play: Gaussian Coil Blaster, Rocket Punch, Temporal Shielding

In Play: Raptor Bot x 3, Platform Bot, Bee Bot, Modular Workbench

Trash: Construction Pylon, Supply Crate, Hasty Augmentation, Flash Forge, Brainstorm, Robot Reclamation

--------------------

Thoughts:

Um, yeah, this won't last long

Haka fof Battle, drawing two cards, then I ditch my whole hand to deal 9 damage with Mere, taking BB down to 2.

Considering Scholar has a Know When to Turn Loose and can do well more than 3 damage, I guess I don't really have to do too much and why type everything up? I'll be a jerk and keep Pushing the Limits in play knocking Scholar down to 3. Next i'll Play Nimble Strike dealing no damage. Can draw a card, it's only HUD Goggles, dang. Guess i'll play Super Sonic Response to deal him 2 melee damage at a minus 1 bringing him down to 1. I'll just use Rapid Recon, replace it and draw Synaptic Interruption and Nimble Strike.
