I’ve made you a set of documents! When we launch our new site in a couple weeks here, these will be available to anyone and everyone as downloads, but we wanted to preview them here first. Most of this stuff the playtesters have already seen, but we love all our forum-goers and wanted to get this out to all of you so you’ll have an idea of what’s coming.
Hostage situation says “each player may discard 1 card each.” 2 eachs are redundant.
Self-Destruct sequence says “this card are destroyed.”
Also, Omnitron doesn’t seem to be fixed nearly as much as you seemed to imply it would be. You said that “all of these things have been addressed,” referring to the drones not being powerful enough, components being destroyed too easily, the bomb not going away at the end of the turn, technological singularity doing lots of damage to heavy equipment users, and sedatives being OP, and yet none of these have been changed in any way.
Er, I’m sure I don’t know what you’re talking about . . . whistles innocently (Thanks! Fixed.)
I never said that Omnitron would be rewritten entirely. In fact, I have said many time that the game is staying the same. Minor adjustments have been made, but Omnitron is not meant to have the power that Voss or Dawn does, so the drones and components have not been significantly upgraded. The Electro-Pulse Explosive is still as great of a threat as it has always been. And Technological Singularity is awful to Equipment users. Sedative Flechettes is awful to Ongoing users. I am sorry you got the impression that Omnitron would be a different Omnitron. Hopefully, you will enjoy Cosmic Omnitron.
I think (but cannot be sure) that you have left out two changes on Fanatics’ cards, that of mentioning the change from Equipment to Relic on “Absolution” and Aegis of Resurrection
Hrm. I dunno if you accidentally changed something when correcting Visionary, but right now, it seems like the bookmark/TOC for Visionary is broken. When I click on any other character’s name in the navigation bar, it goes right to them. When I click on Visionary, nothing.
This probably isn’t the thread to discuss this but “Consider the price of Victory” seems oddly worded.
If it gets played in any turn other than the Villain turn it could be a lot more powerful, was it designed to be so?
If it were played due to Blighted Streets (Rook City) during the Environment turn then it would discard more than just the cards specifically discarded by “Consider the price of Victory” (and don’t even get me started on thinking about having multiple Blighted Streets in play and it coming up!), though I admit this is stretching the possible combination of cards coming up to breaking point.
Well, just like any other target, the HP on the card never changes, but you note that it decreases as it takes damage. The number in the corner of the card will always be 3, 4, or 5, but when it takes damage, it takes it normally.
Wow… that “and Relics” rider on End of Days is interesting.
Question(s) about Citizen Blood: If Citizen Sweat is in play, does he do 1 to the lowest hero and 1 to everyone? Is that a change from the current edition?
