Sentinels Deckbuilding, Game Four: Fourth Time Lucky?

Roll up, roll up, all are welcome here. The rules are over in the first thread, but the long and short of it is that you pick four heroes, build them into a sort of super-hero (pun intended, and revelled in) and then pit them against the newest monstrosity from the villain corner. And let me tell you, she's a beaut...

ROSTER:

Grysqrl: The Naturalist, Legacy, The Sentinels, Chrono-Ranger

Oaktree: Expatriette, Unity, Visionary, KNYFE

luminos: Team Leader Tachyon, The Scholar, Bunker, Nightmist

phantaskippy: Tempest, Fixer, Wraith, Fanatic

Ronway: Omnitron-X, Haka, Ra, Parse

I want to try my last deck again.

Naturalist/Legacy/Sentinels/Chrono-Ranger

Opening hand: Temporal Grenade, Displaced Armory, By Any Means, Team Communication

I'll pick up pieces after the other "regulars" get their entry made in case they want to give decks a new run.

Any chance you can keep a roster updated like I did for the start-up for the last game?

I’m going to go Scholar + Tachyon + 2 others I’ll figure out. I’m going to try for something that draws my entire deck while also feeding cards and plays to other players.

Fixer Tempest Wraith Fanatic

Using Tempest's card.

Opening hand

Consecrated Ground, End of Days, Localized Hurricane, Micro Targetting Computer.

Omnitron-X - Haka, Ra, and Parse. My deck will be only one-shots! As I am curious how exactly that would work...

Opening Hand: Syntactic Analysis, Quick Calculations, Inferno, and Rampage. I'll probably play Syntactic Analysis on myself on first turn! Unless I need to Rampage.

Using Tachyon, Scholar, Bunker, and Nightmist. Using Team Leader Tachyon’s card.

Opening Hand: Hypersonic Assault, Hypersonic Assault, Flesh to Iron, Blinding Speed.

Bah, none of this gets me into set up mode, but I’m sure Hypersonic Assault will be useful.

Too slow to get Nightmist - I'll live with it.

Expatriette, Unity, Visionary, KNYFE.

Opening Hand:  Brainstorm, Hairtrigger Reflexes, Stealth Bot, Twist the Ether.

(ooo... Lots of options.)

*- And kudos to the concept in the last game for Expat using Load to play Bots.

And thusly it began!

Two comments:

1) There are enough Projections in this deck for you to win. Just. Since we're going to be playing in The Final Wasteland, be very careful...

2) Also note that this is not a Suicidal Dreamer deck; that would just be cruel.

End of days, so be ready folks.  It is coming.

Noted.

And glad to see it coming since that combo of projections is a pretty nasty mix.  First time I've played against the Dreamer with 5 heroes in play.  Only time with 4 heroes we got beat, and I'd rolled her out as a curveball to toss at some relatively new players after they'd trashed 3-4 other villains.

Well, this is going to hurt a lot. I guess I'll take the Oni damage. Wouldn't mind if we took that Oni out quick, though.

End of Days comment came up while I was typing my turn. Going to replay if if no one minds.

Edit: I replayed from after my Team Communication and just struck out things that I took back, in case anyone calls shenanigans and wants me to revert.

Nah it's cool.  It was a quick turnaround.

Oh no! Not the Dreamer! I guess I can't Rampage at all, hopefully I don't end up revealing a Rampage with Timeshift!

This is going to be… Interesting. Thank goodness for end of days. I kind of want to hypersonic assault the dreamer, just to shut her up for one round (and since nothing else I can do would be useful)

Expatriette

Curled in a ball, screaming.  (I suspect that psychic projection damage from The Dreamer really hits hard with Expat.)
