SotM Event #17: My Turn - App Version!

This event is like the other My Turn! event, except that it only uses the app characters and with environments. Each hero must beat each villain on advance in each environment. If you do, simply put your name by the heroes in this sheet. Each environment is in a different tab, and the Main sheet has a summary of what is still needed to be done.

In addition, the sheet will be timing us to see how long it takes. The event will start 12:00pm central time. Whoever gets in the last game, please mark down the time of it.

Ok, heroes, are we ready?

EDIT: Almost forgot, if you can, give a session report in this thread,

Unity is missing in the spreadsheet

Fixed. Thanks!

I can't edit the spreadsheet.

Fanatic, AZ, Unity, Tempest and Ra beat Ambuscade in Megalopolis.

Ambuscade Vanished at 2HP, and then immediately Vanished again when he flipped back. Ra finished him off with Flame Barrier.

Well this hasn't started technically.  12PM Central Time is still a little over an hour away.

Also, how does Ra finish off Ambuscade with a combat stance?

Urgh, time zones. I don't understand your weird time zones.

I thought Flame Barrier, typed Combat Stance. They are basically the same card.

Well it must have started now, but editing is still not possible for me.

I tried editing using the iPad app and it's working.  Not sure if he just made it open or google docs is against you updating sheets.

That's because Google knows that this game is about freedom, and Brittain is like Communist or something.

1st recorded game!

Voss in Atlantis vs. Bunker, Ra, Tempest, Vis, RC Wraith.

Best part was the ending, Visionary incapped shortly after sacrificing most of her health with Brain Burn to stop forced deployment from pulling a ton of minions including all the guards.  Then the next round after she incaps we get voss to 9hp, Tempest hits for 4 to start, then decides not to play a card and use Squall to drop Voss to 1hp.  Where Incapped Visionary ends the game with my first ever use of that incap power.

RC Wraith rocked the env. by dodging bullets for us in Pillars and a second Kraken.

Game #2:  Ambuscade in Atlantis vs. Haka, SST, AZ, Legacy, Fanatic.

Legacy gave +2 damage first turn, then phosphorous chamber came out.  SST put one Impale in play for AZ, AZ put a second, Fanatic ended the game by playing Divine Focus then using Martyr to deal 11 to Ambuscade.  He didn't survive his own turn.

Game #3:  Omnitron in Wagner Mars Base vs. Fanatic, Haka, Legacy, RC Wraith

Simple fight, Infrared did it's thing used take down to stop double plays, never bothered to get rid of Reactive.

Game #4:  Blade in Atlantis vs Freedom Five.

Flipped Baron on the second round, Finished the Baron on the third.  Phosphorescent chamber and +2 from Legacy led to a lot of damage, esp. from AZ.

Voss lost in Insula Primalis vs. Legacy, Bunker, SST, Wraith, and Unity. Unity had Swift Bot and Modular Workbench in her opening hand; it took everybody else a while to get drawn into useful stuff.

edit: fixed environment after noticing it was wrong.

Game #1:  Legacy, Visionary,Haka, Fanatic, and Unity got into a shootout with BB in Silver Gulch.  BB played mostly defensive and that was his downfall since those got destroyed quickly or were mostly ignored

Game# 2: Tempest, YL, AZ , Wraith, and Tachyon also found BB in Silver Gulch.   BB and the environment got some hurt on the heroes early on but nice he flipped BB only lasted that round especially when Explosive Wagon nullified his DR on the flip side.

Game#3:  SST, RC Wraith, Bunker, and Ra fought BB in Silver Gulch as well.  This was a slow start for all heroes involved and was one turn away from having the moon crash into the Earth.   They managed and after his flip was taken out by an Inventory Barrage and the Omnicannon.  In fact that was the only damage all game Bunker did as he drew lots of modes, decommissioned hardware, and maintenance units.

Game # 4: Finished off BB in Silver Gulch with GI Bunker, Legacy, Tempest, and Ra in Silver Gulch.  This went rather quick. Ra was getting three hits a turn with Flame Barrier out and BB getting Backlass Field out early.  Legacy finished BB off with his alway motivational charge.

Game # 5: AZ, Wraith, Tachyon, and Fanatic took on Ambuscade in Silver Gulch.   It got dicey towards the end but everyone managed to survive.

Game # 6: Legacy, Tempest, Bunker, and Unity vs Ambuscade in Silver Gulch.  Ambuscade was flipped the beginning of the game and the next round so his initial setup of devices was destroyed quickly.  Once on his main side he was taken out quickly.

Game # 7: GI Bunker, Haka, Ra, and Viz vs Ambuscade in Silver Gulch.   Again Ambuscade spent the first two rounds cloaked.   Once his devices were gone GI Bunker made damage on Ambuscade irreducible which allowed Ra and Haka to wail on him.   Ra finished it off by throwing his staff in Ambuscade's face.

Game # 8:  YL, SSZt, RC Wraith and AZ demolished Ambuscade in Silver Gulch.  YL got Inspiring Presence out first turn,SST got AZ setup quickly, and Wraith was setup well what two Impromptu Inventions.  He listed one round more only because he cloaked one round.

Game # 9: Freedom Five vs Voss in Silver Gulch.  Legacy played his Inspiring Presence first round and negated any reduced damage done by heroes.  AZ and Wraith were the primary damage dealers as Bunker only had a Gattling Gun for offense for a whole and Tachyon never got HUD Googles or Pushing the Limits until the last round.   Voss never got a Forced Deployement out until the last round and he played two of them.  Bunker got the finishing blow with his Gattling Gun

Game # 10:  Haka, Tempest, Fanatic, Ra, and Unity vs Voss in Silver Gulch.   This one got pretty rough especially after the second explosive wagon came out.   Unity got taken out fairly early but her extra card plays allowed the team to survive long enough for Haka to use Haka of Battle with Savage Mana to deal the final blow.   This match saw a bit of everything from Voss.  Both ships appeared, two early forced deployments, and both Field Lieutetants.

Gmae # 11: Legacy, SST, RC Wraith, Viz, and AZ vs Voss in Silver Gulch.  This had to be done twice.  The first draw had two GeneBound Guards out and Field Liuetenant Tamar in Voss's opening turn which ended badly as the heroes couldn't even scratch the villains at DR 4 essentially.  The second try went much like I had expected with Legacy pumping damage, Viz/Wraith manipulating what was played, and AZ burning himself to damage Voss.   All heroes had over 20 health at the end.

Game # 12: YL, Fanatic, Tachyon, Ra, and Bunker vs Cosmic Omnitron in Silver Gulch.  First try was a total beat down from Omnitron as he got two rounds with his components out and once those were finally gone he played terraforming to get Flecettes and Tech Singularity.  Second attempt went a lot better as I got him flipped after the first hero round and with the exception of one round prevented his damage between Legacy and Tachyon.

Game # 13: Tempest, Ra, RC Wraith, Viz, Unity vs Omnitron in Silver Gulch.  Took a while to get a groove but Omnitron didn't take advantage before he met his doom.  I think this was one of the first games I've ever thrown The Staff of Ra since I ended up with three of them and it helped to get through DR to get rid of components.

Game # 14: Legacy, Tachyon, Viz, and RC Wraith vs Dawn in Silver Gulch.  Most the damage done to the heroes occurred in the opening round with Citizens Winter, Assault, Hammer out.  Citizen Sweat came out initially but never destroyed anything.  RC Wraith prevented Dawn from playing another Citizen from that point though that allowed Dawn to heal for twenty points.   Didn't matter much with Tachoin rolling with Viz giving her extra cards.  Three rounds of Lightspeed Barrages for 15+ damage made quick work of Dawn with RC Wraith chipping in damage with Throat Jabs and Micro Targeting Computer powered Throwing Knives.

Game # 15:  Legacy, Tachyon, RC Wraith, GI Bunker, and Ra vs Bomber Blade in Silver Gulch.  Not much to say on this as Blade got steamrolled.  Equipment/Ongoings were played that were expendable and once he flipped the damage was brought on even more with Inspiring Presence in play.

game # 16: Wraith,Haka, Tempest, Bunker, and Unity vs Bomber Blade in Silver Gulch.  A bit of a slow start from all heroes but the environment with the Sheriff and Sustain the Portal helped to get him flipped quicker.   After that Bomber Blade wasn't much of a threat and Unity's bots cleaned up Blade.

Game # 17: Legacy, SST, Wraith, Haka, and GI Bunker vs Cosmic Omintron in Silver Gulch.  Everytime I seemed to think things were under control stuff got blown up and he proceeded to damage the team heavily.   The last two rounds only SST was only character up and managed to finish off Cosmic Omnitron between card plays, card draws, and power uses from the rest of the team.  Cosmic Omnitron was finished off with a Sucker Punch.

Game # 18: YL, SST, Wtaith, Viz, and Unity vs Dawn in Silver Gulch.  Much like my other game against Dawn most of the damage came from Dawn's opening turn as she started with Citizenz Assault, Winter, and Hammer.  After that her damage and card play were kelt under control.   Wraith had the awesome opening hand containing three Impromptu Inventions.   Unity was able to get rolling the second round after playing Flash Forge the opening turn and rolling out bots after that.   The hand ended with the Sheriff bringing Dawn to 2 HP and Dawn sacrificing herself to Sustain the Portal.

Game # 19: YL, Tempest, Fanatic, SST, and Unity vs Cosmic Omnitron in Ruins of Atlantis.  As always this was a close one since Cosmiton has some big damage especially on advanced.   The Ruins mostly played Krakens but they were destroyed within a turn.   Unity's bots mostly were one shots of damage throughout.  SST dealt the final blow.

Game # 20: Legacy, Wraith, Viz, and AZ vs Cosmic Omnitron in Ruins of Atlantis.  This one got pulled out due to the AZ engine rolling and Viz helping with Twist the Ether.   I had to Wraith get Incapped but with the card play from that round I guaranteed that he feel that round.

Game # 21: Legacy, Tachyon, Haka, Viz, and Bunker vs Cosmic Omnitron in Ruins if Atlantis.  Damage was able to be reduced or prevented most of the time but Cosmitron made this rough as normal.  Thankfully Tachyon had built up for massive Lightspeed Barrages as damage prevention had run out and the Kraken were starting to look hungrily at the heroes.  Only Bunker managed to stay in double digit HP.

Game # 22: GI Bunker, YL, Haka, Wraith, and Unity vs Ambuscade in Ruins of Atlantis.   Contributions were good from the entire team.   I was a bit worried with the Ruins playing Pillars the first round but nothing too disastrous came out.  Once he wasn't cloaked I burned him down quickly using the Panzer Buster power.

Game # 23: YL, Tempest, Wraith, Viz, and AZ vs Dawn in Ruins of Atlantis.  The environment was more of a threat in this game as Dawn mostly got to play the same Channel the Ecslipse for multiple rounds thanks to Into the Stratusphere and Suggestions.   With multiple Phosperent Chambers being played hand size was a it of an issue for all but Wraith.   AZ dealt the final blow with his Cold Snap.

Game # 24: Legacy, Tempest, Tachyon, Viz, and Bunker vs Dawn in Ruins of Atlantis.  Not as much deck control this time but I accomplished preventing Dane from flipping with a Brain Burn.  Dawn and the environment made this a closer affair then my last game but there was enough control done that she couldn't pull out a win.

Ambuscade taken down in Insula by Ra, Haka, Tempest, AZ, and Fanatic. Dicey due to some bad draws on hero parts, Sonic Mines, and Velociraptor Packs, but it was pulled through - but not without Fanatic being Resurrected.

Beat Ambuscade with Legacy, Bunker, Tachyon, Unity and Wraith. Started with the cloaking device in play and 2 sonic mines. Neither caused much issue with +3 damage from Legacy and an Obsidian Field.

Voss next

How did you get it to open in the app? It just opens in Chrome for me, uneditable.

SO I beat Voss in Insula Primalis with Young Legacy, Ra, AZ, Tempest and Visionary. The fight was easy if long. I used Imbued Fire to baby sit a firesworn while buffing my damage, to prevent him from flipping. It took a long time even though Voss barely could do anything between Subzero Atmosphere, Visionary and Into the Stratosphere.

Legacy, Ra, Fanatic, Tempest and Wraith fought Blade in Insula Primalis. He had 11 cards in his trash at the end of his first turn. I was able to flip him in the power phase of the last hero before the moon fell. He then put out backlash field and used it to tear us apart. The turn before I would have killed us, when all my people were under 15 hp, devious dispuption came out and forced me to destroy all of my stuff. I beat him on the last hero turn, and of course his backlash field bug went off to punctuate my win. Closest game so far

Since I opened the spreadsheet initially on my iPad while signed into my google account, it is listed in the Sheets app and I use that to update it.

Perfect, thank you!

Freedom Five versus Mad Bomber Blade in Insula Primalis

The Five dealt with his bombs relatively quickly, though all of them but Absolute Zero were feeling the heat. After Blade switched to his death ray, it was a fairly easy fight, with Legacy providing his usual leadership, Wraith & Tachyon giving support (Stun Bolt and Hypersonic Assault for the win), Bunker providing some steady damage, and Zero rocking the Thermal Shockwave for the win.

Young Legacy, Rook City Wraith, Super Scientific Tachyon, Unity, and G.I. Bunker vs. Mad Bomber Blade in Insula Primalis

After a very quick game, I realized I hadn't set Blade to Advanced, so I replayed the game....and steamrolled him again. Most turns, Blade was unable to deal damage due to Heroic Interruption, Throat Jab, or Hypersonic Assault - or just had his damage reduced enough by Stun Bolts so that Stealth Bot could easily tank all of it. All of my heroes except Young Legacy were at 21 or 22 life, and she was at 17.
