Spiff's SotM Accessories

Have you not been following the ARG/Whose Tim Cosing thread?

Wager Master made an apperiance in the game and his "regular" clue led to the next part of the game but there was a "supplemental" clue that led to that JPG, it looks like it was a joke of Wager Master's.

https://greaterthangames.com/139724865

missed this part and then thought it was a joke people were telling

That thread does have TWO THOUSAND posts.

I don't get your argument Andy  :stuck_out_tongue:

In any case (back to the subject of the thread), it's an official promo that will never be printed or have an incap side, but that doesn't mean people can't use it with Legacy's regular incap side if they want, which is why I added it to the Randomizer.

Thanks Spiff!

Bored on a Saturday and still without any VotM art to play with, I've added a new file to my site which has eight character hp trackers in various colors and with various combinations of characters on them.  They're more generic than the hp trackers I make for each individual character in the game, and this dial design is easier to manipulate than the overlapping dials in the other kind of tracker.  The trackers are card-sized, so are easy to store with your decks.

If you've been wishing for something like this, today's your lucky day.  It's available on my site now (www.spiffworld.com/sotm).

Awesome stuff!

A blue-bearded angel has answered my prayers and unblocked the flow of delicious VotM art from GtG, which means I'm back in business!  Woo!  In a cruel trick of fate, this happened on the day I had planned on mainlining Daredevil season 2 episodes for 48 hours straight, but we'll see if I can rearrange that schedule to get at least a little bit of SotM accessory work done over the weekend.

Thanks, blue-bearded angel!  You made me believe in miracles again.

Spiff, if you want to, I would love to see my Finding Freedom mini-series PDF at your site. It would be nice to have it in the place people know to look for awesome SotM fan-made swag.

I presume you're doing this by watching 48 hours of shows in 12 hours rather than in 24?

I was accounting for time to eat and sleep.  I know, I'm not a true hardcore.  It's my secret shame.

I got girlfriend shackled on this one preventing binge watching as she wants to watch it with me and the anger I'll get if I don't is not worth it. My girlfriend being awesome makes it fair trade.

Plus, it is kind of more enjoyable to space episodes apart enough to think about them occasionally!

Thinking is over-rated, just cram it all in at once and then read other's opinions so they can tell you what to think.

I agree.

Turns out, I got almost no Daredevil watching done this weekend (no spoilers!), but I did get quite a bit of accessory work completed.  I've updated the file on my site which contains promos and alts to include oversized cards for all the promo stuff that came out around VotM (listed below).  It doesn't say anywhere on my site that the file's been updated because I haven't actually finished everything that's supposed to be in there yet, but I thought that since I was at a good stopping point, I'd post what I had in case anyone wanted to get started with the printing.

The file: www.spiffworld.com/sotm/files/00_promos_and_alts.zip

It now contains oversized cards for:

  • Chrono-Ranger: Best of Times
  • Scholar of the Infinite
  • Hunted Naturalist
  • Adamant Sentinels
  • Termi-nation Unity
  • Termi-nation Bunker
  • Termi-nation Abs Zero
  • Santa Guise
  • Cleverest Legacy
  • Tormented Ally Infinitor
  • Trickster Kismet
  • Chokepoint

Don't go looking for anything besides just the oversized cards at this point (no card boxes, etc.)  This stuff takes time, man! I'll get to those soon.

The "promos and alts" file on my site now includes everything having to do with the promos and alts, like boxes for Chokepoint, an environment mat for Celestial Tribunal, etc. plus all the alt hero stuff I mentioned above.  That file is now complete.

Next up is to actually do the villains from Villains.

I've finished the oversized villain cards for VotM and have posted them to my site.  Still no card boxes, small hp trackers, etc. but those should come more quickly now that I've finished the character cards.

MigrantP has shown me how to make it so you can launch a SotM: The Video Game game directly from my Randomizer on an iOS device using the Randomizer's results, so I added that capability to the Randomizer.  Get a great Randomizer match-up that you just gotta play in the video game now?  Click the link and get your game on, man!

All you have to do to enable this in the Randomizer is click the "include only decks from SotM: The Video Game" box in the options area.  That will make sure the Randomizer only chooses from decks which are actually in the video game now, and will display a link below the results to open the app and start a game using the Randomizer's results.
