I've (finally) added deck boxes to the VotM collection on my site, both unsleeved and penny-sleeved.
Now that there are so many multi-villain villains, some with the same name as their non-multi-villain selves, I decided there should be a way to distinguish which are for the multi-villain format and which aren't just by looking at the boxes. To that end, I put a white box around the "V" and the word "Villain" on the multi-villain boxes, making them easy to tell apart. I likewise went back and added the same marking to the Vengeance villains so all multi-villain deck boxes now have the same identifier. If you're so inclined, you can go back and reprint the V5 decks, but of course you don't have to.
The full set of VotM accessories isn't complete yet, unfortunately. I still need to make the small hp trackers and the Advanced cards for the VotM villains.
Next up is to start trying to pry all the art for the updated hero cards, including the new promo card art, from GtG. I figure if I start now, maybe I can get it before I get grandkids who want to play SotM. ;)
I love these. I've done a fair amount of papercraft and am kind of looking foraward to making these, But I have a question.
With My Oblivaeon coming, and that big amazing box of amazing awesome amazingness, do I need these for organization anymore? Life trackers sure. But the boxes?
I stopped using the boxes a while ago because, while convenient (and pretty), they took up too much space. I've been using a standard four-row white baseball card box with vertical dividers to keep everything separated. I'm not sure what I'll do when the Big Box becomes available, but it probably won't involve my custom card boxes.
Just so long as you decide to may boxes for Prime War whenever it comes out. I've got my Tactics looking rather spiffy, and it would be a shame if Prime War didn't as war.
We'll see about Prime War. I'm not 100% sure I'll get the game, but chances are good. The biggest bummer is that all of that sweet 3D terrain I made for Tactics will probably be going the way of the dinosaurs. :(
They're there already. All the new heroes, variants, and environments are in the randomizer already. There's nothing for OblivAeon itself because I haven't been able to get that art from GtG.
EDIT: ohhh, I see. I added the new stuff but failed to update the selection list so you can't actually select them. I'll do that tonight after work. Sorry.
If anyone uses it, they'll appear in my randomizer as soon as they're in the statistics data set. For the physical game, that'll be the next morning after someone reports a game with them and Lynkfox kicks the Google form to update the datapase. For the digital game, it'll be on about the 2nd or 3rd of the month after the content appears.
either way I'd like to thank you for your work in maintaining the randomiser throughout the entirity of Sentinels of the Multiverse, it's a great resource and I'm sure many others appreciate it as well.
EDIT: For those who want it in the meantime I edited the link to to randomise using everything including the missing 3 environments for a solo villain game game, click here for it.
This will stop working if you change the options for what's there however, but you can add &enviros25&enviros26&enviros27 to the end of the link to re add them.
And because I know people will ask, 25 is Maeyrian Refuge, 26 is Mordengrad and 27 is Fort Adamant.
I've posted all the new stuff for OblivAeon to my site, including a new file with printable hero standups to move between battle zones instead of the flat hero markers that came with the expansion. Unfortunately, GtG has been too busy to get me the art for OblivAeon or the Scions, so those use crappy playtest art (the heroes look great, it's just the Scions that look bad). If/When I get the real art, I'll update the file.
SotM is now officially complete and I guess my SotM accessories are now too. Enjoy!
That's a shame, as I abosutley love your oversized hero and small villain hp trackers and was hoping to get oversized hero HP trackers for Void Guard, Stuntman, Benchmark and the new variants that came with the kickstarter. I can live without the variants, but I'd love the get trackers for the new decks.
The oversized hero hp trackers are there for VG, Stuntman, Benchmark and every variant that exists to date in the "Promos and alts" set (check again because I originally posted the file using the wrong filename so the link didn't go to the newest upload, but that's been fixed).
The Oblivaeon hero standups are there on the printables page, right below the Quick Reference Sheet.
Also, I guess I lied about not having anything else to post because I've been spending the weekend making an updated set of vertical card dividers since that's how I store my cards. When it's done, I'll post that too.
Thanks, I guess I must have just caught the old link on the trackers cause I redownloaded the promo set to check exactly that and it didn't come up with benchmark etc.
Oh, vertical dividers could be super-helpful down the road. I have everything in the original boxes right now (all but 5 heroes in one box, all solo villains, environments, common tokens, and the other five heroes in the other box, and OblivAeon, the team villains, and the oversized cards in a third box), but that won’t work when Earth-Prime comes out. I couldn’t find a good horizontal storage solution, but there are a lot more vertical ones.
I use a four-column standard white trading card box and the entire Multiverse fits in there perfectly — heroes in two columns, villains in one, environments and multi-villain decks in the fourth. No room for SoEP though, unfortunately.
That’s all unsleeved, of course. Only a crazy person would sleeve a 3200 card game. ;)
