The Legacy and the Egg (Tempest ep Spoilers)

Spoilers for the Tempest episode

So, we learned today how Maerynian's reproduce.

We learned that they can take genetic information from people that they come in contact with while carrying an egg.

We learned that Tempest is currently carrying an egg.

So if tempest comes into contact with young Legacy, and gets some of her genetic information, would his offspring get the powers of the Legacy line? Would it then stop Paulina's first born child from being able to inherit that legacy?

You probably should put spoiler in the title just in case.

Good idea

As much as I'm usually loathe to go meta, I feel the answer to this basically hinges on "Would Christopher be twisted enough to go with this?"

And now I'm stymied by the fact that I don't actually have an answer for that.

Related thoughts: "Is twisted the right word? I mean this wouldn't actually be the most horrible thing ever from a strictly objective perspective." + "Didn't Christopher once allude to there being lots of people with Legacy-esque powers at some point in the distant future?"

Not that this has anything to do with the content of your question, but the title "The Legacy and The Egg" makes me imagine some purposefully silly 1950's story in which Legacy has to recover some ostrich eggs (or some similar comically-sized large eggs) stolen from the Megalopolis Zoo while at the same time getting calls from Mrs. Parsons reminding him to pick up eggs from the grocery store on his way home...  The threives are of course apprehended and the eggs returned to their rightful place, but the comic ends with a baby ostrich hatching in the Parsons' kitchen because somehow he got one of the eggs mixed up.

Actually I have it on good authority, my own because I am making this up, that in the 1960s in the campy live action the Wraith show Vincent Price played an egg themed super villain. So there you go

And thus was the birth of Eggbert, the Wonder Ostrich! The comedic pet/animal side-kick of Legacy!

Hey, if your gonna make things up,ya might as well base it off one of the greats.

on a seperate note: I feel like if that happened it would be one of the biggest ass-pulls in the history of comic-book-based-fixed-deck-based-card-games and I don't know why.

on a seperate seperate note: the title made me think of a childrens fairy tale. But with sentinels characters.

Now I kinda want to see what a series of fairy tales with Sentinels characters would look like. You know somebody in the Publishing Universe would dream up such a thing.

Was that the one with Julie Newmar, Lee Meriwether, and Eartha Kitt as Ermine?

Yes, they just kept swtiching out every commiceral break

Personally, I just think it was great that back in the 60s they gave Yvonne Craig the chance to headline a show on her own.

Ell, you know what they say. Everything is canon just in an alternate universe. So this TV show actually happened.

Back on topic, would such a combination be a Leggacy?

No. D:

I'm sorry, Take. Don't crack it at me.

I thought it was a great yoke, TakeWalker just needs to come out of his shell. He's too hard boiled, and if he would just relax a bit these kinds of puns would go over easy.

That's it.  You win.  I give up.  I'm joining the Cult of Gloom.

But if you join the Cult, you can't ever be sunny-side up!

It's too late.  They successfully poached me.
