Villains of the Multiverse, Sentinel Tactics: Battle for Broken City, and Sentinel Tactics: For Profit Preorder!

Well I could tell you what's likely to come first, but I'm not sure it's public information just yet.

Yeah, that information is piviledge of the powers that be.

We are playtesting, but even we don't know the timetable for releasing the finished product.

It would be reasonable to assume that what we're testing now will be released first though, right?

I wasn't planning on Pre-Ordering both Sentinel Tactics Broken City and For Profit... but after seeing the new stuff and promos I think I will. Skipping out on Villains of the Multiverse this time around...

The Sword sheds a new light on Fanatic and Apostate... Too much similarities for a coincidence, if you ask me.

I feel like the The Celestial Tribunal  is just a massive reference to the Sword of Damocles. It could also be involved with Fanatic and Apostsate, but maybe not.

Unless... it's possible that Fanatic and Apostate are the last survivors of the race that created the sword? Feels like a stretch, but possible.

I defintely think Chokepoint ends up becoming Con, or at the very least causing way too may problems. Not only does it sound like she's going after the sun, but the ability to "know the weakpoints" could expand into time travel and trying to mess with the past.

Also, seeing Renegade... wait... why change his name to Renegade? Maybe he ends up realizing Con is up to no good and has decided to hunt down Con before it can cause trouble? Anyways, seeing Renegade has taken so much abuse but is still in Broken City after Plague Rat... dang, I really don't remember my point the name change threw me completely off.

Too many amazing hings are happening, I can't handle it

Maybe his new Bounty is more complex than before : destroying all the evil in Broken City ?

Maybe he has lost the ability to travel in time and is stranded there ?

OR he succeeded in his mission for Con : Chrono Ranger changed the future. The FInal Wasteland won't happen. Con won't exist - and so no more Time Travel. Just a gunslinger fighting bad guys on the frontier.

We know that he lost his ability to travel in time - his time badge got busted on his incap side, and he gets rescued by future La Capitan.  We don't know if he regained his ability to travel after returning to populated space.  (Although since he was given the mission of stopping past La Capitan, it seems likely)

By the way - I am derailing, sorry. I don't know if anyone pointed it before, but one interesting point about Chrono Ranger is comics history : before the Super-hero revival in the 60s, cowboy comics AND monster comics were in vogue . When super-heroes went back to the front, an effort was made to make cowboys comics more superheroic, with costumed or powered villains, etc. But "monster" comics and cowboy comics began to sell less and less and disappear.

With Chrono ranger we have the former hero of a cowboy comics becoming a super hero. And fighting monsters. Perfect.

End of derail - I shouldn't spend my nights reading the Marvel University blog.

I just had a flashback to my nine year old self watching Superman 3. I need to go and rock myself gently in a corner for a short while now.

Darn it! I had my fingers on the keys ready to type and you beat me to my theory!!

But yeah, I can totally see this.  One of the art pieces has Swift Bot being taken apart by Choke so shes obviously got her absorbing little hands onto Unity's tech at some point.

If the bots\Choke\Golem result does indeed end up becoming Con in the future, it would also fit with the tease we have had that Con is 'partly' Unity.

Hmmmmmm…

Are we sure Renegade is Chrono-Ranger? And do we have hints to guess from which timeline - and where in the timeline (or CR's own subjective time) he comes?

Isn't the Cosmic event ending SotM supposed to end the Multiverse and merge the various timelines ? I suppose that would have huge consequences for the whole time traveling connection (CR, La Capitan...).

He’s sure got the hat and the arm
Though he looks like he’s come to some harm
But who else could it be?
Cowboys don’t grow on a tree
Chrono-Ranger has quite unique charm

Just thinking aloud here, but two things we know about Gollum Unity is that she's confirmed to be part of the Iron Legacy timeline (via her nemesis) and the original Unity is dead at that point (via the text, and as if she was alive then GU wouldn't believe she was the real one, presumably). If Chokepoint is destined to become GU (I think the artwork and text hint at that pretty heavily), that raises some questions (especially as I think I read that Unity is still alive in Tactics?) about when \ if Unity dies?

weird it opens up the Twitter page with his image for me.  I've tried it on a few different devices too.

Chrono regains time travel from La Capitan, but he lost Con.

We don't know if he oes back to Con after that, but it seems like his accepting La Capitan's mission might signal his time with Con might be done.

Apostate as the lone survivor of his race, who quite possibly betrayed his race (just based on personality profile) in teh process makes so much sense.

Then he ?makes? Fanatic, or something?

This is really a confusing process to work through, as Helena has a start point, unless she was Superman for her race, and was sent in like suspended animation to stop the betrayer of their race?

As an innocent child perhaps she could make it past judgement, and she certainly has an obsession for judgement and justice, even for herself.

Just thinking out loud, but I like that direction.

I really enjoy the thought of the Tribunal being created by The Host and being a part of the Fanatic/Apostate story. Unfortunatly I don't think it will play out that way. Both are more linked to magics and faith and mystical otherworldy powers so it wouldn't seem to jive with a highly advanced technological AI at first glance. But the theme of judgment is a stong tie to both. I'll be keeping an eye on this for sure.

In Choke's bio, she heard voices from a resonating crystal. Where have I heard that one before? Could there be any relation to the blue stone of Deadline's, to the purple one of Infinitor/Cap Cosmic, possibly even to the yellow stone of the Infinite Scholar, to the green stone from the Dreamers stuffed Ape?

The final boss is the Crystalline entity from ST-TNG?

The Finite Armored Glove.

No spoilers, but Catastrophe and Verge are my favorite piece of design work for this wave of Sentinel Tactics. I can't wait!
