FWIW, it would kill one card, the Sable Pin on me. But of course the Hypersonic Assault makes that irrelevant. BTW, you did 3 damage, not 2; you did it right in the end summary.
Zombies and the Chosen Disciple aren't a big deal at all actually, as Legacy can tank them with no trouble.
The Zombie turning into a cultist is something., but the only cultist that is trouble is Cursed Acolyte.
Right now Infernal damage is the big threat, if you leave the Acolyte in play ZO can shut it down, the sable pin is the biggest threat, but vortex is enough to kill it. Right now you need some healing and to finish getting prepared to summon relics.
I'm not sure why we're talking about Sonic Vortex, when Tachyon doesn't actually have the option to play it this turn...
I propose that we leave the Cursed Acolyte in play, where we can control his damage and eventually use him to summon, rather than kill him and risk him coming back with Vast Following.
Tachyon: Don't forget that you also hit Gloomweaver

Use a power: Timeshift Argent Adept
Pause here to resolve Timeshift
Sorry. As I was typing this up, I forgot the part about keepign CA in play. Give me a moment to revise.
Update: Turn above updated to leave the cultists alive.
Also (and this is probably best saved for when we get some relics in play), if I can get a damage boost from Legacy and Argent Adept, I can do 12 damage to all non-hero targets with Defensive Blast. We can spend a turn or two knocking out the relics' HP and then summon the third.
Yeah, was reading and thinking and got on the wrong timing. bah.

The timeshift reveals Arcane Cadence (yay!) Put it into play.
Reveal 5 cards from the deck: Akpunku’s Drum, Cedistic Disonant, Rhapsody of Vigor, Alacritous Subdominant, and Inventive Preparation.
Put Rhapsody of Vigor in my hand, Alacritous Subdominant on top of my deck, Inventive Preparation on the bottom of my deck, Cedistic Dissonant into the trash, and play Akpunku’s Drum.
[hr]
I could play Rhapsody of Vigor rather than Vernal Sonata this round. (Both heal us all for 1HP.) How much do people want a card from the trash back? It looks like we don’t actually need the Hypersonic Assault. If I play Rhapsody of Vigor, then Legacy could let me use it with Gung-Ho.
Either way, someone else will now get a card play; let me know your thoughts.
(Updated with the card choices.)
Sorry, got a little confused since I knew that card was at the top of my deck… Good thing I went with the other method so I didn't have to redo my turn.
I think it depends on whether or not you are going to take out the lava card during your power phase. I'd say, if no one objects to discarding 3 cards from their deck (for my part, discarding isn't a problem), then play Rhapsody of Vigor. If someone objects, then play Vernal Sonata and use your power to destroy the lava.
Right, I should have made that explicit. Discard 3 cards helps Tachyon and doesn't hurt the rest of us unless I stack their decks, which I'm not currently planning on. In fact, more cards in the discard gives more to choose from with an eventual Vernal Sonata. If I play Vernal Sonata, I would use Akpunku's drum to (a) give someone a card play and (b) destroy the lava.

Just out of curiousity, can you tell me the reasoning behind this switch?
Agreed. I have no cards that I want to play right now.
Gloomweaver has three cards that do infernal damage and one which does psychic damage (covered by TS) and only one (Cursed Acolyte, which also does infernal damage) that does fire damage (covered by EE). The environment has two cards which do fire damage, but taking the damage can be avoided in most cases. The Temporal Shielding covers more cards that deal damage that I can't avoid some way.
The only reason that I had EE up was because it came up in a Timeshift and I'd rather have it in my hand than in my trash. I didn't have another good play, so I took this opportunity to switch them back. Do you have a better suggestion?
Thanks! You answered my question. I guess you'll still be in trouble if Ophidia or the T-Rex comes out.

I don't really understand Reset, and the strategy of when to play it or not. The only other play would be Disruptive Flechettes, which would kill the Cursed Acolyte, so I understand why you might not want to do that.
I had two Resets and played one to see if I could get a better card to put out. I wanted to save one, though, in case something wipes out my components.
My original play was the Flechettes, but I wanted to keep the Acolyte around.
